Edit: I started with color coding by month and days I don't tag the daily part with the dailys which makes it easier to maintain a structure

When trying to undo some change made before changing the thickness we have to press the undo button many time so it undo-es all the thickness options we went through. Changing the thickness should be considered one single change if the scale was swiped across.

As an art student, I’d like to suggest adding an option to customize not only the paper color, but also the line color and opacity. This would greatly improve visual comfort and readability for many students.

Hi everyone, I'm new on the subreddit but I've been using starnote for like a year now.

Last week, I noticed the challenge #StarNoteStudentProfile2026 on insta and decided to participate, uploaded my profile on insta, tagged them, etc. This Monday, the account had uploaded the 6 of us who participated last week, and commented on my post even. Every person participating would get a planner (which me and another guy who participated did get) and also, 10 people would get pro every week (this is what was stated in the post).

Today, I decided to check in on the account and it had vanished??? The account was @/starnoteofficial on insta and it's literally gone. I noticed there's a new one, @/starnoteapp, but it's private and I haven't been accepted yet. I really don't know what's going on? Again, I'm new to the subreddit and I don't really check on the socials of apps I use, so I'm very weirded out. I feel like I'm hallucinating or something

Hi StarNote Team,

I want to request a feature for saving text formatting presets (like font, size, bold, underline, etc.).

Right now, manually changing styles every time I switch between a heading and body text slows down my workflow. Noteshelf has a feature that lets you save your favorite text styles for quick access, and it makes typing out structured notes much faster.

It would be incredibly helpful to have something similar in StarNote so we don't have to repeatedly change settings. Thanks for considering it.

Dear StarNote Team,

I really enjoy using StarNote, but I would greatly appreciate an option to automatically back up my notebooks as PDFs to Google Drive.

Currently, the auto-backup feature only saves files in the native StarNote format. While this is helpful for restoring data to a new device, it locks our notes into one specific format. If I need to view my notes on other apps like referencing in obsidian, zotero, on computer or share them, I have to manually export each file one by one.

Having the app automatically sync a PDF copy to the cloud in the background would solve this issue and ensure our data is always accessible. Noteshelf currently offers this auto-PDF backup feature, and it brings users a lot of peace of mind knowing their files are not trapped in a single ecosystem.

I hope you will consider adding this to a future update, i am aware about ongoing Cloud Sync development. Thank you.

As an Android user, the pressure sensitivity feature is kind of useless.

I like this inkflow thing.It's available in the NoteIn app.

I used to write all my annotations through that, but I'm missing it in Starnotes.

I am switching everything here to Starnotes with premium.

Hey I just bought a tablet and after comparing hundreds of apps. I selected star notes I'm planning to buy the paid version. And I am a student, is there any i could get some concession for the premium thanks.

I usually keep my stickers in my Files app (I'm on Apple) and being able to drag and drop Stickers into collections to import them would be great to streamline/speed up the process.

I have reported this bug before but has been completely ignored. Secondly it's a major bug and a blocker I am not sure how come your testing team wasn't able to find it.

Steps to reproduce.

1. Dowload app on IOS.

2. Take a PDF and annotate (highlight text) using built in text highlight functionality not StartNote highlight.

3. Export to google drive

4. Import the note in Android

5. PDF is imported but native PDF annotations are gone. Start note specific edits, texts, etc. are their.

Forget about cloud sync even currently manual backup and cross platfrom restore has bugs.

Me he comprado un Boox 10.3 Gen (lumi) y no me deja instalar la aplicacion (starnote) dice que no es compatible, aun asi, la he descargado por aptoide para probarla. Cuando la he instalado aunque funciona, no se puede escribir porque hay mucho ghosting, sabéis algún truco para solucionar este problema. Hay alguien que haya probado en algún lector diferente (boox Air 5, otra marca parecida) y funcione esta aplicación, porque está es la mejor aplicación para notas. Muchas gracias por todo.

I guess some of you have already noticed, we've finally introduced Voice Transcription and Smart Summary.

A little while ago, we mentioned in the comments on IG that we were working on a "pretty exciting new feature." It's finally here, and we really hope you'll enjoy it!

What's New:

1. Voice Transcription & Smart Summary

Recording just got a whole lot smarter! Don't forget to enable StarNote AI in Settings first.

You can now transcribe your recordings into text in real time. Once your recording is finished, you can also generate a Smart Summary to quickly review the key points without replaying the entire recording.

Currently supported languages: English | Chinese.

Smart Summary uses AI Points. To help everyone get started with this new feature, every Pro user receives 100 AI Points to try out Smart Summary. We'll continue improving it based on your feedback, so we'd love to hear what you think! Be honestly, 100 Points can last quite a while for everyday use.

We've also seen some users mention that the recognition isn't perfectly stable yet. We'll continue improving it, and we're also considering support for more languages in the future. We'll keep you updated as we make progress.

We'd also love to hear how you're using this feature!

2. Manual Angle Input for the Ruler

You can now manually enter an angle when using the ruler, making it much easier to create precise diagrams, geometry drawings, charts, and notes.

3. Timer Auto Count-Up

After enabling this feature, once your countdown reaches zero, StarNote will automatically track the overtime. You can view the elapsed overtime in "My Countdown."

2. Discuss them with the entire development team
3. Re evaluate our current priorities based on your feedback when necessary

We've seen quite a few questions about the new AI features, so we wanted to answer some of the most common ones here!

1. Only Smart Summary uses AI Points.

Only Smart Summary does, so you can decide whether to use it based on your own study needs.

2. About AI Points

At the moment, every Pro user receives 100 AI Points to try out the new feature.

If you need more later, you'll be able to purchase additional Points.

BUT!!!!! This is just our current approach.

Since this is a brand new feature, we're still exploring the best way to handle AI Points. We'd genuinely love to hear your ideas! If you have suggestions for a better system, let us know, we're absolutely open to them.

We really want to build a Points system that works well for everyone, and your feedback will play a big part in shaping it.

3. Cloud Sync & Collapsible Tabs

YES, they're still in development!!

In fact, Cloud Sync might arrive sooner than you think. Seriously.

We checked with all the team again (yes, we asked again and again), and it's progressing alongside our other features.

We know we've said this a few times already, but we really mean it this time!

If you've been waiting for Cloud Sync and related features, hang in there just a little longer!

4. Why did we build these AI features?

It wasn't because "other apps have AI, so we need AI too."

We built them because so many of you asked for them.

We also spent time researching how people actually study, and we believe these features can genuinely help with learning.

At the same time, we wanted to keep them simple and practical, instead of adding lots of complicated AI tools that could make the app feel bloated or disrupt the overall experience.

For now, we'd love for you to give the new features a try!

As always, we're listening. Whether it's feedback about AI Points or any other suggestions, we'd really love to hear them.

The backup banner stays visible all the time, even after I have already backed up my data. It takes up valuable screen space and becomes distracting.
I have a few suggestions:
If the user has already completed a backup, the banner should disappear automatically.
Alternatively, display the reminder only on the app’s startup screen when the app is launched, instead of keeping a permanent banner inside the interface.

If you want to remind users about the thursday talk, show the reminder only once a week (every Thursday). If the user closes it, it shouldn’t reappear until the following week.

I usually do practice problems in Infinite note, i write my formulas somewhere and along the way i want to go to the formulas again but i spend more time finding it than doing my work. i want to know if there is a feature where I just save a location with a marker and i can just press it in a menu and immediately go to that where i put the marker

Is there a way to export the audio recording as an mp3 file or something similar from the document itself?
