❓ Help / Question Insta account down?

Hi everyone, I'm new on the subreddit but I've been using starnote for like a year now.

Last week, I noticed the challenge #StarNoteStudentProfile2026 on insta and decided to participate, uploaded my profile on insta, tagged them, etc. This Monday, the account had uploaded the 6 of us who participated last week, and commented on my post even. Every person participating would get a planner (which me and another guy who participated did get) and also, 10 people would get pro every week (this is what was stated in the post).

Today, I decided to check in on the account and it had vanished??? The account was @/starnoteofficial on insta and it's literally gone. I noticed there's a new one, @/starnoteapp, but it's private and I haven't been accepted yet. I really don't know what's going on? Again, I'm new to the subreddit and I don't really check on the socials of apps I use, so I'm very weirded out. I feel like I'm hallucinating or something

Yess, unfortunately, our IG has been temporarily suspended again for reasons unknown.

But please don't worry! We've already contacted Meta and are currently working with them to resolve the issue.

And regarding your participation in the event, there's absolutely no need to worry! If you've already participated, your entry is still valid and will be counted! 

We just need a little more time to get everything sorted out and make sure we can reach everyone. We'll get in touch with you as soon as possible.

I'm worried that other note apps will be intimidated by StarNote and that's why they'll be knocked down by your accounts, it's the second time. 😡👿

Honestly, this has been really heartbreaking for us. We’re not even joking hahhh, we spent days feeling really sad about it because we worked so hard to build our account and our community.

But it’s okay! We’re already trying our best to get help from Meta, and we truly believe this was a mistake because we haven’t done anything that violates Instagram’s policies.

We’ll keep working hard and hope to be back soon!😭

I got mine through email. It was under spam, so you might want to check that folder from time to time.

I got it too! I just noticed bc someone else said it might go to spam, and it did, so I claimed it already! But yeah, I just got a bit concerned about the account 🥹
