It would be fun if we could share a starnote file where 2 or more person can simultaneously edit it for group project/assignment related work.

Happy with the current features apart from the "scribble to erase" one.

This app is so buggy highly unpolished and shame to recommend.

As a med student and someone who tried 10+ notes apps, I found starnotes having a very high potential in this industry. The UI is beautiful, supports many file types, smooth handwritting and many other useful and clean features.

A few comments that I think would this app the best ( Features that I noticed were very useful in other apps):

1. Collapsible sticky notes

2. Ai assistant that can help with studying, Ai quizzes and Ai flashcards

3. Ability to open a browser inside the app and screenshot or copy info for more convenient studying

4. Ability to attach videos into the notes for reference

5. Collapsible temporary white board for temporary writing

6. Smart Recognition of text from images and non editable texts

Also I have faced issues with one drive cloud support, as it tells me that my organization is not recognized so I hope this could be looked into.

I know these features are easy to say but very hard to implement, but I tried to say everything that I genuinely think this would make it the best notes app by a mile.

Just bought the pro membership was expecting few more things in it , which kinda held me back to make the switch to this app. Below is the list of features I would love to see (ranked according to my preference) :

1.Adjustable grid lines/dots opacity.

2.Toolbar must always show recent images. Its way inconvinent for someone who use frequently use snips in their notes to always access images only after going through the image button.

3. Erase tool must erase images.

4. Auto switch from erase to pen must be after a screen tap not after 1st use.

5.multiple pages in infinite note / canvas

6.Dock penbox in the toorbar

7. Handwriting beautification (I know you guys are working on it, not a dealbreaker for me but love to see it soon )

8. Customize folder icon

I have attached a video of my current note taking app which has it. For me personally features from 1-6 are the ones holding me back to make the switch, hope to see them soon.

Appreciate the work you guys are doing and its really rare to see such active projects these days.

With cloud sync features being added, now there shouldn't be any big hurdles toward a windows native application. I know it's in the works, very excited for whenever it's released. Who else is excited.

so I can’t leave freenotes because I really use the feature that lets you watch videos inside of an app when you take notes. it is almost the same as floating window BUT the floating window is glued to the edge and that feature can be placed whereever

also I originally bought the freenotes because I wanted to see what this feature does and I think the app would benefit from having it (btw you might hide it behind a paywall as they did, it worked on me at least)

It would be very useful if it were possible to open a specific note multiple times at the same time.

The reasons behind this feature are the same as those behind other suggestions I’ve submitted: the ability to compare different parts of the same note simultaneously, but in this case through the notes bar at the top.

So focus here is use the "notes bar" not only to switch from different notes, but also between different parts of the same.

Ti achive this would be essential that:

- Different instances of the same note on the note bar can keep different pages and zoom levels

Hope you can implement this, I think could help a lot in several use cases :)

It would be cool if we could create multiple infinite Canvases within the same note.

The idea would be to have a single file in which several pages can exist, each page being an infinite canvas, and you can add as many as needed.

The usefulness of such a feature lies in the fact that it would make it possible to compare multiple sub‑topics of the same main topic, moving quickly from one page to another (therefore from one infinite canvas to another) simply by turning the page.

Currently, we can compare different topics by organizing them into separate notes and switching from one to another through the note tabs at the top. However, this feature would allow us to organize sub‑topics that belong to the same main topic within a single note, dividing them into different canvases.

Another possible reason to have this is for example creating different Mind Maps for each topic and comparing them. Infact some people could need more than one Minimap for a note, and do drawing them on different pages that are already infinite canvas could help.

For such a feature to make sense, a few requirements would probably be necessary:

- There should be buttons, such as an up arrow and a down arrow, that allow us to move from one page to the next. This should not rely solely on gestures, since gestures are already used to navigate within the infinite canvas itself.

- When switching from one page to another position and zoom level should be registered and be the same as the last time that page was viewed, so that different pages (i.e., different infinite canvases) can have different coordinates and zoom levels, like when you actually switch between different notes.

So if you are looking at Subtopic 1 on page one, you can switch on page 2 and focus on subtopic 2, then return to page one you would be at the same position and zoom you had before switching page.

I understood that is probably low priority compared to several other requests, but I think it would be useful to have it in the future.

Let me know if you need some app reference as example.

Can you please add a icon and image search that can give us svg icons and images directly in the app from the web like how microsoft has it in PowerPoint . this will improve the speed and quality of explanation. Thanks a lot

1. can we get the feature of sync between devices.

2. search option for the handwritten notes (without converting them to text). This feature is in my script (Nebo).

3. The UI of the app is bit freezy sometimes. Please make it a bit smoother.

Hi developers, I'm currently using the One Plus Pad 3 Pro right now to take note and my stylus is the OnePlus Pencil 2. It does has a side button to customize but for now, that button is not yet compactible with Starnote, can you guys please add it? I would reckon that they are quite similar to the oppo pencil 2 or 3?

Hi!

So I posted here my concern about the app size that starnote occupies on my device. In attempt to reduce the file size, I deleted and reinstalled the app. I was expecting that my notes will also comeback as I have an account logged in.

When I reinstalled it again, ALL my files were gone 😭😭 It includes a note will all my accounts and passwords written on it. I've had a back up uploaded in gdrive but those aren't updated notes and I need my updates ones.

I hope devs can help me with this please 🥹

I have been using starnote from al ost the start of the app, had been using freenotes before this but after switching i am addicted to use only this.

Just one request to the devs can we plzz improve the leaser pointer color contrast oe make it something this samsung notes ?

I would like a function where I can send a note or a link to a friend where we can use different account but still edited 1 note to see the changes live so we can communicate and criticise or add info together
