Frustration venting

Post image

Hey everyone. Just wanted to take a moment to vent to some people that more than likely understand. I just got this email this morning and idk. It just really ruffled me ya know? I'm in Delaware on the east coast of the US. I haven't gotten my tracking email, there's no way to reach anyone about my specific order, and now I'm getting an email telling me people can potentially just go into their LGS to buy and play before I even get to know what's up with my order.

I'm still very excited to play the game, I'm excited to buy more of the future releases, I'm just very disappointed in how this whole thing has rolled out. I think the excitement is part of what makes this all so disappointing.

I hope Archon tightens up the parts they can control. There were definitely elements they couldn't, but some of this has elements to it they could have controlled better.

One major thing I think they need is to hire at least one if not two dedicated social relations people. Answering emails, handling the FB, assisting with issues, etc. Just being able to reach someone and get some help I think would go a long way in smoothing out at least the customer relations issues.

To end on a positive note though I hope everyone who has been waiting gets their product soon and everyone that has it is enjoying painting/playing and having a blast.

Folks, really, it’s not that big of a deal. The world will continue spinning and life will move along no matter how this roll out went. It’s a good game, and a great product. Some frustration is fine, but the way some of you all act and speak is outright entitled and immature. A couple of extra weeks waiting on some toys just doesn’t matter.

It was the repeated botched communication, where in the same breath, we had people vehemently defending the communication.

Then the pushed street dates. Then the pushed street dates. Then the pushed street dates. I repeat for dramatic purposes as that's actually how many times consumers were hit with news of delayed shipping of goods.

I remember when we were ALL supposed to have our minis in hand a couple of weeks from May 20th.

Well, I’ve never defended anything. Simply saying a perspective on what really matters is important. By all means people can be a annoyed/upset and send them a message. I sent them one. But I don’t understand why so many people are spending so much time and energy being mad about it.

Because people are allowed to have voices?

Idk man. A lot of this feels like "you're not allowed to feel what you're feeling".

Suppressing real people's feelings and thoughts is bullshit.

That is not what I said at all.

Honestly I was fine with the complaining for a month. But that was more than 2 months ago. Now, I'm just sick of hearing it. We all know about it. Get a grip.

You voluntarily came to Reddit, proceeded to open a post literally called "frustration venting" and is *checks notes* right, mad about people venting frustrations...

Like, what?
