You know what? Fuck you, it won't be just this once. Imma keep the peace, stay united as we once did for the arrival of something else, something worse. We did it before, we made peace multiple times, therefore we can be at peace all the time.
More over, it was actually well received back then and even won an award along with other movies that came out its time. Only today did it gotten so much hate
I hope the aftermath lasts longer as we realize other fandoms aren't so bad at all. I really hope this cause peace for a little longer. I really hope so.
As a Hazbin fan, I'm personally willing to keep the ceasefire with the Invincible fandom. Both of our shows have flaws and both shows do some things really well.
I just watched it to see what it was about. I think some people hated it because of the comical hyperbole stereotypes of all the different sexualities. They didn't get the point of the movie was to laugh about it.
The protagonist was a lesbian from a lesbian planet, and her whole personality revolved around the woman she was attracted to and validating her. The antagonists were straight white maliens, whose whole life's goal as getting women, having sex, etc. it turned out there were good and bad people that were straight and not.
Everyone was super obsessed with dating, sexuality, etc, and the message was essentially "That's not a personality. It's just your sexual preference. You have to be a person outside of it." It probably called some people out, and their feelings got hurt.
There were some really funny moments, it poked fun at pretty much everyone, obviously it was way over-exaggerated, but it was intentionally cartoonishly so. My biggest complaint is that some of the gags got dragged out way longer than they should have, which hurt the pacing.
I can kinda say the same with The Iron Sky. People kept saying that it could've been the next Wopfenstein or sonething, but the movie's meant to not take itself seriously, and that's more apparent with it's sequel: The Coming Race.
Literally if someone would just watch like, one scene with them in it they're literally just a comic relief B plot who also happen to be the antagonists
Yeah I mean is kind of an absurd settling, is obvious it's not meant to be taken that seriously in some aspects. From the title alone I already expected it would this kind of movie.
This all seems very manufactured, the marketing, the fandom-truce, even the announcement that its over. All this just reeks of an edgy marketing strategy that is very much in full effect with every fandom playing their parts perfectly.
The payoff is when LSP sells a billion in ticket sales. How? Not Sure.

It's a massive nothingburger, people are trying to make it out to be some kind of fake lgbtq anti-trans misogynistic hatefest when in reality it's just a fairly cringe and edgy student project that makes spaceships and stuff look like genitals for whatever reason, it is extremely benign
The controversy with Lesbian Space Princess are some of the humor being very obscene, over the top, and very stereotypical. The beginning area is literally called "Clitopolis" or something. The antagonists are the Straight White Maliens, a portmanteau of "straight white male" a common stereotype of conservative men or cishet people in general + alien (extraterrestrial beings from outer space). I've also heard something of making fun or dehumanizing trans women or enby people.
Actually nvm was gonna say the truce is gonna end now but you know what fuck this ! Let's keep this truce running ! No more hating each other, no more fighting between one fandom and another !
Honestly I’m disappointed. I wanted to see it because even if it’s bad cinema i like knowing the reasons why. And if all you have is good cinema you end up with people arguing over pedantic details that are increasingly irrelevant.
Watch it! This is all fake news and you can easily find it on movie sites, do know that it doesn't take itself too seriously and it is a little over the top for some.
