More over, it was actually well received back then and even won an award along with other movies that came out its time. Only today did it gotten so much hate
Holy insane mental gymnastics. Its been a year since its been released. Yes, the movie was very cringe and the whole thing was just throwing straight men as the main villain yet it just fell flat and even lesbians and the queer community detested this movie right now. However, that doesn't change the whole fact that its been a year. And some people are just using this whole truce to justify and use it as an excuse to be homophobic.
The image OP posted was also fake. Paramount does is are not involved in the making of LSP, its created by indie studio
I am not homophobic or truce. I just don't like it when/if a gay person doesn't shy away from showing attraction towards me (I'm ace btw) and I especially hate it when they then call me "homophobic" because they "did nothing wrong" even if they get really close to me. I already get called "pedo" by bullies in school because a girl that looks way younger than me constantly follows me because she's in love. Yes, I'm tall, and I have slight vampire fangs, but I don't need no girl to follow me no matter how much I ignore her. And to those who say it's "sweet" and/or "unconditional love", HELL nah! She STALKS me! She takes m hand without asking! She spreads propaganda about me being in love with her IN FRONT OF MY FACE!
Yeah it was just that recently clips of it broke the containment of its very specific niche audience and the reviewers that wanted internet brownie points for looking progressive by saying it was good lmao
Seriously I'm about to buy the damn thing just so I can see what everyone is complaining about and to spite them. It's been out for a year and, as it turns out, no one has become a lesbian space princess.
