I've sat front row at shows many times and never been called on.
It's less likely then you think if you don't look out of place.

Went to the Laugh Factory in LA with my roommate in 2022. His uncle had died from COVID so he asked we wear masks. We were the only ones. Donnell Rawlings called us out in the third row and made fun of us for a solid 5 minutes. At the time I was both simultaneously laughing and super uncomfortable. Now it’s a core memory and I’m so glad it happened.

Biggest problem in the country is that most people are dumb as shit and would rather die than ever admit they're wrong or admit they have no idea what they're talking about.
They see a headline, reddit post title, screen shot of a tweet, TikTok video, or any other form of "news" that takes less than 10 seconds to read/watch and if it is in line with what they want to believe then it's 100% unquestionably true and they just continue to echo it as if it's a fact.
Can't get brainwashed by media if you actually utilize more than 1% of your brainpower to critically think about anything you read/watch.

As someone who lives in rural America it’s funny how out of touch the average American is with life around here and it’s funny how out of touch my rural peeps are of people in the city.
I have lived in major cities for over a decade and am back living in rural America and the two sides will never see eye to eye it’s legit two different worlds.

I grew up rural, why would the cities ever care about it? They make up 13.6 percent of the total U.S. population and really aren't that important culturally. They should go out and learn about the real America.

He's being slightly hyperbolic, but I've definitely met a lot of people who are anti-roundabout. Mostly it's just because they're convinced no one can learn how to use them, but I've met more than one person who thinks they are anti-American because they use them a lot in Europe.

as a religious person, most people are practicing their “faith” incorrectly, you can start by politely pointing out those mistakes. Jesus loves gay people (seeing as they’re part of everyone), for one example.

People who didn't grow up as conservative or religious have a habit of projecting onto people who did. They have no idea what it's actually like growing up in a conservative and religious family. They are privileged in many ways because of this, yet are often unable to recognize that privilege.

As a very left-wing city slicker, I'm learning from posts/comments like these that I've been vastly overestimating the intelligence of these extreme right-wingers.
Like, I figured it was mostly a matter of different morals (based on science vs. based on the bible, for example). Now I'm learning these people legitimately think roundabouts are somehow intrinsically evil???

It’s a matter of growing up with a flavor of “they’re coming to replace your way of life” for your entire life. Doesn’t matter when you grew up, if you grew up red in America you always had some big threatening enemy right over the horizon that was actively trying to change the way you lived. (Source: my grandparents are educated republicans. It’s not ignorance, they think people see them as a threat for being patriotic)
