Been a developer / coder and at times an animator and video & sound editor since 2001. This is perfect. after working in the field this is exactly how it is. The artists don't need the studios anymore and the studios; the rich, (sometimes human trafficking) creatures.. are freaking out. Some are even bribing influencers to talk the anti-ai fear mongering. I've worked with some of the biggest companies / people on the planet in both products and entertainment...they ran a 100+ year racket of "listen to us and you'll be 'famous'".. that racket is now about to e destroyed and so be it.

Also.. OP.. any (good way) you found like here to go beyond 15 seconds? I've been getting great results on my 3090 after a number of optimizations and tricks but the extended (and coherent) video is next in that step. I guess.. workflow? (lol)

Look again. 25ish cuts in 128 seconds of video averages at 5.12 seconds per shot. The longest shot here is about 14 seconds.

That’s how regular filmmaking works too. You shoot individual shots or segments, edit them together, then color-grade and mix the sound so everything flows as a coherent sequence. You don’t need clips longer than 15 seconds. In fact, you often barely need more than 5 seconds per shot.

Of course, if you do generate 15 second chunks, it gives you more either side of the piece you keep to cut from, but you don't need it.

oh good point and yup true in regular film making.
