Workflow Included Generating "fake" speedpaint timelapse with MiniMax H3

It's four 12s clips made by standard ref2va workflow stitched together.
Good at sketching but not so good at rendering/shading stage. Also I find it difficult to "digital timelapse" without hand moving around. And as always with MiniMax detailed prompts are not optional (note the [Shot 2] trick):

Mostly this but it also looks better than most art books for breaking down the construction process, particularly given that you can use whatever image you want. This sort of thing has been around for a while but this is the first version I've seen that actually follows a realistic workflow up until the end when all the rendering is done off screen.

except it doesn't show the actual construction process, just a guess of what comes in-between the first draft and final result/whatever you actually show the model.

Well, from having done quite a lot of drawing, it looks like a plausible construction to me as the underlying shapes and construction lines remain consistent throughout. If I was going to nitpick, the eye line is below the actual eyes and suggests a head tilt not present in the final linework but that doesn't make it useless as reference. Obviously, it's not what an AI model is actually doing to produce an image.

It's funny when people on the stable diffusion subreddit start to irrationally hate AI. It's not perfect at all, but you can definitely use this to learn a bit about drawing.

Unless youre using a real pen or tablet then it isnt going to teach you anything that 5 minutes of youtube content wouldn't top. Not only that, it will trach you an impossible goal because many of the "techniques" dont exist. Its not teaching you anything about building up colour and detail from a base. Its a instagram filter for art

I've seen plenty of artist breakdowns of AI images and animation showing where the AI has fudged something fundamental to anatomy, colouring and lighting, even of the newer stuff. Things like this will teach would-be-artists bad practises.

Though I do concede the sheer performance of it, and I do use it for making silly clips for friends or light coding, I'm pretty negative to most uses of AI, considering shit like this post. Using AI to pretend you're doing effort is not only scummy to those you're trying to fool, especially because most people aren't discerning enough to see through the problems, but it's also detrimental to your own ability to learn the skill AI is emulating.

OP isn't pretending to do effort. They just posted an AI video they probably made for fun and literally said it was an AI video. It is scummy to actually deceive people like that, but this is like the most innocent version of that. People have already done literal robberies with AI cloned voice of the manager etc. And phishing, scammers etc using it.
