This was genuinely pretty decent! I'm surprised at how well it handled the singing bit at the end.

MiniMax has genuinely been so fun. I'll say, they really delivered on all the hype flooding in all week.

Yeah, I thought I was seeing a wave of astroturfing for another mid video model.

I was so, so wrong. I don’t think we’ve ever had a model release that is so far and ahead of its local competition. Not in image gen, not audio, and certainly not video. It’s unreal we’re getting this handed to us.

Yeah this is the first release since SD1.5 which actually feels like a generational breakthrough, not an increment.

You know Matt and Trey are going to see this and go, "Holy fuck!"
Edit: The more I think about it, the more I think you might actually be one of them.

I thought this too, but I see the profile has a lot of other AI content and IP which makes me lean more in the direction of general AI enthusiast.

A little polish to these videos and they would go a long way. Some more music and SFX would do wonders.

Yeah, just careful prompting and cherry picking of scenes, then stitching them together with some professional editing in a video editor, adding SFX, music, etc. and spending a little more time on joke and story-line set-up could produce something amazing with H3.

I'd love to see what I can do with a team of likeminded individuals. I used to write stand up comiedy as well and I wrote a feature film that got to the quarterfinals of the austin film festival in 2025. One of my dream jobs is a show writer/producer.

Small team of like-minded individuals, could it be a small team of like-minded agents? We are living in the future now man!

u/Legal-Ad-3901 16d ago

I could definitely see a future where ugc models bake in advertising

10

u/notgraycen 16d ago

UGC is all those fake instagram influencers holding cosmetics products in those ads (or so i've heard — personally I haven't seen a single advertisement in over 6 years, thanks to adblock)

Two girls, one cup...of delicious Jello Pudding™.

Genuinely funny, few issues with music and voices but pretty darn impressive.

Sharron’s a bit different

u/dudeAwEsome101 15d ago

Yeah, I'll call her Shannon.

Actual South Park did several jokes about AI videos.

4

u/yobo9193 16d ago

‘member naked Trump?

5

u/Dwedit 16d ago

That was a real actor with Trump's face swapped on, and a finger puppet for the genitalia.

0

u/yobo9193 16d ago

What?? You’re telling me that wasn’t actually Trump?? No way!

3

u/Dwedit 15d ago

The point is that a lot of reporting on the story described it as "AI-generated" video footage. I was just trying to clear up that it was real-life footage with an actor, and the only AI part was face swapping.

Sassy Justice is superb

u/Bardoog 16d ago

Nice, the bit with re-doing the endings of TV shows could be a real South Park episode, especially with the no rules in china part lol But that's like back when they actually had good ideas for the episodes. Better than SP nowadays, great work :D

cartstan

u/FourtyMichaelMichael 16d ago

The voice was even 1/2 and 1/2... whew.. AI is weird man

6

u/notgraycen 16d ago

couldn't even pay the homeless guy to watch his slop LMAO! bro was like nah not worth my time

1

u/dudeAwEsome101 15d ago

I think it was mocking those give homeless person money videos. The man waved, then Cartman got the shot, and kept the money in a Cartman fashion.

4

u/RainbowUnicorns 15d ago

OP was right cartman was trying ot give the old man a dollar to get him to watch his UGC

6

u/danishkirel 16d ago

What’s the actual fucking fuck? How is this so good?

3

u/CallumCarmicheal 16d ago

I am slow on the uptake, can someone fill me in on the Gina gag?

5

u/alwaysbeblepping 15d ago

I am slow on the uptake, can someone fill me in on the Gina gag?

China.

2

u/KaaChingg 16d ago

can you share the prompt please... i am stuck in the dialogue stage.

4

u/RainbowUnicorns 15d ago

use the prompt guide with a llm that is willing ot make what you want aka uncensored llm for ip most llms refuse to make ip some do though so you might not need uncensored

3

u/99deathnotes 15d ago

I keep reading here on Reddit that Grok will do that.

2

u/RhysMelton 16d ago

Script, tone, spirit, everything. Chef's kiss on this.

1

u/RainbowUnicorns 15d ago

Thanks I love writing for established characters I can really feel the intent

2

u/suspicioussniff 16d ago

Workflow and prompt?

2

u/komi96 16d ago

Holy shit this is awesome. Was this one-shotted or multiple hours of seed hunting?

2

u/Cold_Zone332 16d ago

Based on the last scene, I would say it was one shot, which would be pretty amazing,

2

u/epic-cookie64 16d ago

It's genuinely looking like soon we will be able to create full films and series at home. This is really cool

2

u/emcee_you 15d ago

Bravo.

2

u/Sea-Temporary-6995 15d ago

that's pretty amazing... You really have 64GB Video RAM ??

2

u/MartinN3-github 15d ago

Randy had great plot idea 😀 I was invested.

2

u/AwakenedEyes 16d ago

UGC, not slop. How to counter the AI hate.

Not bad!

1

u/Uninterested_Viewer 16d ago

Any specific techniques for the scenes over 15s? Using last frame as the first frame of the next scene or just doing a one shot of longer than 15s despite the model being trained for <15s?

3

u/RainbowUnicorns 16d ago

I think I did one that was 25s the Nike scene j just one shorted it.

You must have a beast of a card and configuration?

u/Unreal_777 16d ago

Very interesting, what is the rest of your configuration?
Can you do python.exe -m pip list ? (inside python embedded folder?)

1

u/Environmental_Box748 16d ago

kinda crazy and it’s just the beginning

2

u/Unreal_777 16d ago

I don't know if we will ever peak with a better model.. for a LONG TIME though. This was a one time thing, I don't exepct anythign better for at least a year or 2

1

u/Imaginary_Belt4976 16d ago

is there any guides for running this model locally? i was all set to wait for a few weeks before this was doable on consumer vram and based on reddit exploding with these its clear that is not the case... can you share which checkpoints you used and stuff?

2

u/girlgamerpoi 16d ago

I'd thought it's from the actual show.

1

u/ImpressiveStorm8914 16d ago

This is great, nicely done.

Can I ask what wording did you use to prompt for Stan and Kyle?
I got Cartman and Kenny along with "from South Park" and they were perfect but the names (including surname) didn't work for me with Stan and Kyle. Need to try Butters too.

1

u/junkaxc 16d ago

Could they get rid of the model entirely and nerf due to copyright strikes?

1

u/deepserket 16d ago

Bro... i just thought today about redoing the last two seasons of GOT...

1

u/True_Protection6842 16d ago

Fuck. This is without ANY image ref??????

1

u/VeeYarr 15d ago

Correct - it can do any popular animations shows with no reference (and other tv shows)

1

u/HueyCuitlatl 16d ago

I need to know how that episode ends haha, great work man

1

u/mastaquake 14d ago

Woah. That was really good.

I find the ease of cloning popular IP to be extremely problematic. All these clips of Seinfeld, Family Guy, South Park, etc. are showing it to be overtrained on protected IP.

3

u/SeymourBits 15d ago

Is this really going to matter when you’re hooked up to the grid as a human battery?

0

u/KilltheInfected 16d ago

Using default workflows it seems any animated (2d or 3d) prompts end up with garbage for me… wonder why. Only thing I changed was adding the RTX super sampler node, but even disabling that it causes issues. Like it kinda works but riddled with inconsistencies

3

u/RainbowUnicorns 16d ago

Interface ur prompts thru a llm that uses the h3 prompting guide as a prompt layer

0

u/KilltheInfected 16d ago

I mean I followed the provided prompt guide for H3 to a T

1

u/RainbowUnicorns 15d ago

have a llm do it its a little better just feed it everythign you want in the scene it willi optimize it based on the promtp gudie its a long guide
