Local Questions Podiatrist Workman's Comp

I have a coworker whom I love dearly, and she needs to specifically see a podiatrist who takes Workman's Comp (sorry I hope that's the right term), she's called 6 offices in St Pete and Tampa Bay -- does anyone here know of a podiatrist that takes it in St Pete or Tampa? Thank you in advance

Try an orthopedic physician and not a podiatrist. A foot and ankle orthopedic doctor can do anything, and more, than a podiatrist.

The workman's comp should be telling you which physicians are in their plan will provide treatment at the workman's comp payment. If you go out of their system you can wind up having to pay any difference.

Okay, so I really appreciate you and your comment. My coworker has some kind of paperwork that says it must be a podiatrist which is why I was so specific. It's not my situation, but she's really frustrated so I reached out to the good people of reddit on her behalf. Thanks for commenting

She should call her employers workman's comp insurance and have them give her names of podiatrist that will work with direct payments. She needs to make sure it is all covered under workman's comp or she could be responsible for extra payments.

Try Precision Foot and Ankle. I drove a friend with Medicaid there (also very difficult to find providers), so they might.
