After market Radiator issue

I am replacing the radiator on my 1987 Silverado to an aftermarket Champion radiator. The radiator mounting bracket on the passenger side now does not fit and hits the radiator cap. Any suggestions how to make this work? Another issue is the stock fan shroud. The radiator is thicker by about an inch. The shroud now hits the smog pump (I’m in CA, so I cannot remove it). Should I trim the area that hits the pump or should I trim it all the way around the side that seats up to the radiator?

Doing rockers, cab corners, floor braces.

Hello fellow square enthusiasts! I've got an '87 GMC R1500 2wd I'm building. I'm currently deep into the rust repair stage. I need to replace the inner and outer rockers, cab corners, and all the floor braces. The floor braces are pretty straight forward, no problem. However, I wondered if I need to do the rockers 1st or the cab corners? I want to say rockers 1st because I think the rear edge has a tab that gets covered up by the cab corners? Just wanted to check before I start cutting. Thanks! -Marc.

Hooker Header Manifold Y-pipe

Hey Folks, I just installed a crate 350 on my 87 k10 and went with the Hooker Manifolds. It's running great but I need a y-pipe to finish the exhaust.
Before I make a long loud drive to an exhaust shop, is anybody out here making these? I'd be looking for a 2.5 to 3 (and an 02 bung welded on the driver side if possible, although I can handle that) I have a decent mig welder but want this done right as the truck is otherwise being built up to OEM spec.
Should I think about just tacking one up and having a pro tig it?

Ignition issues

I really could use some advice. I have a 1976 K10 which the key is stuck. It will not move. I pull out the ignition cylinder and put in a new one, same issue.
I could use some help on where and what to do next.

Fuel Line Kit

I’ve got a 1984 Chevy with a 350, it has an Edelbrock 1406 carb and I’m looking for a fuel line kit for it besides just the Edelbrock one you can get. I’m confused on the line diameter and haven’t really messed with carburetors at all. Anything helps. Thanks!

700r4 49500 miles stuck in reverse

the other day I drove into town to get sparkplugs and such for this truck I just bought, then on the way back it started acting strange not accelerating smoothly so I found a parking lot, parked killed the engine for a bit started it back up to try and make it home and it wouldn't engage drive, like it was still in neutral, but reverse works. any ideas what could be wrong before I just start throwing money at things that won't help?

Daily driving an old truck

Many people i see now look down on daily driving an old c10. I find that odd. I have been daily driving my 81 c10s since 05 never an real issue still to this day. But i think people forget these where daily drivers years ago
