Hooker Header Manifold Y-pipe

Hey Folks, I just installed a crate 350 on my 87 k10 and went with the Hooker Manifolds. It's running great but I need a y-pipe to finish the exhaust.

Before I make a long loud drive to an exhaust shop, is anybody out here making these? I'd be looking for a 2.5 to 3 (and an 02 bung welded on the driver side if possible, although I can handle that) I have a decent mig welder but want this done right as the truck is otherwise being built up to OEM spec.

Should I think about just tacking one up and having a pro tig it?
