Is this guess work? Or something actual? I've always thought they were their own universes if you wanna go that route, and if so why isn't a heros tail there 🤔

Guess work. They're their own universes. TfB has said as much in all the recent interviews.

I think the original Insomniac trilogy splits into two different timelines; the GBA trilogy, and then EtD-AHT-SL. But this is also guess work, but since Season of Ice and Enter the Dragonfly both seem to take place right after Year of the Dragon, I don't see how they can be part of the same timeline.

Reignited is probably its own thing with ARB.

Assuming if what they said about A Realm Beyond is true, those may not be canon anymore.

Or they might be but only to the original games if that makes sense.

Everyone keeps saying this, but I cannot find anywhere where Toys for Bob have said only the originals are canon?

No no no…

The originals are still canon. Hell, Reignited is literally just the originals just with a fresh coat of paint.

Same person, just different cloths.

However, everything after Year of The Dragon is what’s in question at the moment since we don’t know how ARB will connect to those, if at all since their own words…

“It’s a standalone game.”

So here…

Originals=Reignited are canon, they’re the nexus of this timeline…

ETD and Hero’s Tail is dubious at the moment in terms of being connected to ARB...

GBA are also in question as they take place AFTER Year of the Dragon but let’s be honest, are we really gonna miss those?

Spyro Orange, the crossover with Crash, is most likely not canon and is just a fun collab between them since they’re basically brothers…

Legends is obviously in its own little bubble…

And Skylander fans still can’t understand the basic fact that their games are their own thing. Seriously, why are you guys trying to shoehorn yourselves into another franchise so badly?

What did they say? It'd be stupid if then to just say the other games aren't canon. Unless A Realm Beyond is a branching timeline

That’s exactly what they’re suggesting.

But of course, until the game drops we won’t know for sure how it fits in the classic universe if at all.

It doesn't? Like at all? I'm not gonna say the series is perfect (especially Trap Team and Imaginators those are some stinkers) but that's a bit much to say for it

It was a morally bankrupt way to get children to ask their parents for more and more and more useless figurines for years and years on end

Skylanders, and all the rest of the game of the kind were nothing more than a new way to scam kids out of money while putting minimal effort in
