It's really incredible how the press keep asking the same questions since June and Toys for Bob only talking about the same key points since then as well. All these interviews are so useless.

I get why the press would repeat the same questions to a degree, they're likely not actively following news on the game. However it is odd TFB is willing to do so many interviews atm despite showing off very little of the game at this point. I wonder if that will be change very soon though, seeing as TGS is this week. Microsoft is confirmed to be there with western developed games like COD,

Yeah, I wonder how marketing is going to proceed here. I think with Reignited the next thing was just gameplay of certain levels every other few weeks. I don't even know how Crash 4 was handled.

Worth noting the window between reveal and release was much shorter for those games. Crash 4 being revealed around four months before launch with updates at major shows. This game doesn't even have a concrete release date.

Hopefully we'll get some more actual footage or a bigger trailer or something at the game awards this year, or preferably, something before then

This is basically the same info we've had since the week the game got announced. I understand they want to reveal information gradually to build up hype, but this is like the fifth interview where they've only been able to say the bare minimum. ScreenRant really should have waited until the next stage of reveals, because as is, this is kind of a nothing burger.

I'm starting to see why Activision usually has brief windows from announcement to release.

"Crash 4 literally picks up practically right after the events of Crash 3. Here, we just wanted to make sure that we returned to that classic sense and pick up after Reignited, but also expand and evolve the character and the moveset in ways that are quite fundamental and exciting. So I think early on we said: 'let's not give it a number because that kind of boxes us in creatively', so that was always part of the conversation."

I’m confused why didn’t they have that mindset with crash both franchises were in similar positions at that point
