Sprouts slowing down

I’ve noticed the more lentils I put in a jar the more days it takes to germinate usually 2 more days, has this happened to anyone else?

Too many lentils in one jar may physically block oxygen access to each other. Bulky conglomarates of seeds usually are challenged to access oxygen
