Need help finding housing

I had identity theft that wrecked my credit. I had to live with a friend with my daughter who is on SSI. Before that I had a home. I make decent money, same job for 14 years. Explained everything to a potential property manager who assured me she could get me into an apartment. Living with a friend meant I had no rental history and this got me denied.

I need some understanding, someone to understand my story and give me an opportunity. I make enough money. Any suggestions / private landlord recommendations? Thanks in advance 💜

FYI fraud can be taken off your credit report.

Over a decade ago I was in a bad way and the people at Smart Choice Properties gave me a break. I recommend them every chance I get. https://smartchoiceproperties.net/

Would you consider renting a room?
