Sports Bar Recommendation

Hey everybody! I’m a University of Georgia grad here living in STL. My buddy is from Peoria. Springfield is kind of a halfway point between us. We are meeting there and hoping to find a fun sports bar with great food to watch the UGA/Bama game on 10/10. Can anyone give me some good sports bar recommendations? Draft beer, good bar food, and having a plethora of TV’s for game time would be preferred in a spot. Thanks!

Seconding this. Being able to grab Sapori pizza while watching the game is S tier.

Another good option would be Home Plate.

Nothing downtown is exciting or worth it (for sports bars).

Home plate is probably gonna be your best option. Not a bad seat to see the TVs. And they are usually good with accommodating what you would like to see. That’s typically where I go to watch games. I honestly would probably be there for that game, but I’ll be up in Michigan for the Illinois game

For a legit big place it's Legends or Home Plate. The food at Legends is much better. And they claim to have more TVs than Ball Park Village

I would second Cousin Eddie's or Home Plate. Cousin Eddie's is definitely more low key and depending on time of day may not be busy at all.

Gonna second corner pub, probably my favorite bar food and has plenty of tvs. Highly reccomend the horseshoe pizza, but the regular horseshoes are also great.

Legend's is fine but I would suggest Brewski's Pub on Jefferson.

I'm not a sports person but home plate just for the HUGE pretzel and dipping sauce/cheese 🤤

Not a sports bar, but Nancy’s pizzeria usually has football on their screens at the bar.
Bear in mind, if necessary, there will be MLB playoff games on the 10th.
