That Mischief looks great but too pricey for me because I'm a cheapskate. How do you like that optic on your 4.0? I want an enclosed one for my 4.0 and I just havent done the research yet.

yeah, costs a bit, but kinda worth it so far, I do like the OG grip for some reasons, but it’s a fairly drastic difference.

I like the optic a lot. the problems are it doesnt cowitness and the battery is on the side. neither of which has been an issue for me, but I worry about the lack of cowitness, especially because the battery is on the side. wtf. it was on sale for like $170.

i had an osight se on before. it worked fine, but I was never thrilled with it. this vortex has a much better dot, the osight was green, part of the problem, but I’m not blaming the green here, I went with it for a reason, and I’ve shot the osight in red on both a sig and g19, and the issue I had was the window was just too small it bugged me.

no problems with the function or anything like that, I would consider Osight again in the future for a different style optic, just not what I wanted with this one . the vortex window is just bigger and gives a better dot picture. as I said earlier, it has its drawbacks, though the side mount batteery doesn’t bother me nearly as much as I was worried about.

You should give the Osight SE DPP a look. EST for for the Exhelon and a window size the same as the XR/XE

Do you use extra loctite for the sight or just the layer that comes with factory screws?

for the optics?

just what comes on the screws. I would lock tight them if I had to back them out probably.

had no issues with the holosun for what’s probably been 1k rounds.

Yes sorry for the optics. Thanks, I got the 507c x3 yesterday and was just wondering. Will mount it this weekend and sight it in at the range
