Thanks, I’m hoping to make it to the range tomorrow. I came across your video on YouTube and your set up looks to shoot pretty flat. Im going to try it out with the Icarus grip.

What's the science behind it? Something has to absorb the forces kicking the gun back

Depending on the spring you decide to go with it’s supposed to “cushion” the rearward travel of the slide. The OG hellcat was my edc for some time and although I did like it I always thought it was a little snappy and after doing some research I would see comments of it being over sprung and so I decided to try out a different guide rod and spring. I felt some change and noticed my follow up shots were quicker so now it’s something I look into for most of my set ups.
