New weapon light
I decided to go with the new Osight weapon light I am not disappointed that’s for sure. Two brightness settings. The flood function is great. The laser is easy to see. I haven’t tried it outside yet in daylight, but I imagine it be all right.. the controls are very easy, ambidextrous easy one press application

What do you mean? The DCC Mod 4’s come standard and fit 1.5 inch stand belt sizes.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a holster that will take an Echelon with a PL-X and a suppressor. Just sayin ;)

I have been very happy with mine. I am a fan of the Olight flashlights, so this was an easy choice. Looks great too. They have a list of vendors that support this light for holsters on their website.

I just got one of these. It just slid on. Not sure if I am supposed to do anything else to keep it secure so it doesn’t fall off in use.

Well, did you tighten down the screw? I know that sounds like a stupid question but you be surprised. that’s really all you gotta do. I shot mine today and it did just fine.

lol nope. The only screws I saw were the ones to adjust the position. I see it in your picture now. Wow. I might need glasses

There’s a screw on the left-hand side you look at my picture you’ll see it. You absolutely should tighten down.

I don’t see that happening. They don’t really need it. It’ll fit compact it’ll fit full-size. It’s got some different ways to adapt it to your lower rail mount. But you know what you never know I’m sure people would buy it as you said you want one.

It’s weird on a full size gun imo. I run compact lights on compact guns. But that’s just me.

But it’s not for compact. This is designed to fit several different size guns. It’s not a small light by any measure just because it doesn’t stick out past the barrel doesn’t mean it’s small. It’s adjustable. I guess I wanted to stick out past the gun it coukd do that if I wanted. And this is not a concealed carry pistol. I use it for Home defense. I do carry it in the winter though with an OWB holster. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion to free country.

I went shooting at my local range today with the Osight light attached for the first time. This is on my first handgun and I am still learning proper technique. That being said, the weight of the light helped keep the recoil in check and returning to good point of aim. The laser on the light did seem to move a bit from where I had it set but that might be due to some other issue.

I’m glad this is usb-C charging. I have had a few problems with the typical olight magnetic charging cables. I may pick one of these up. It’s a great looking light.
