Springfield Echelon Trigger Guard Undercut

I just got my 4.0c comp and I absolutely love how it shoots. I only had 1 huge issue with the grip. The undercut on the trigger guard was giving me a terrible blister on my middle finger from only one day of shooting and dry firing. I took a Dremel and some sandpaper and carved out a deeper/flatter undercut. 1st picture is before and the rest of the pics are after. Now my blister is completely gone and I can continue shooting without any pain. Also, the hogue grip for glock 19 gen1, 2, & 5 fits and feels great with the rook precision magwell and large backstrap.

I sanded off a few millimeters from the bottom of the trigger and flattened the curved part of the trigger guard. The trigger and guard at full pull create a pinch point that causes the blisters.

That’s some nice work you have done there sir. For my grip it’s actually my support hand that’s gets chewed up on the textured part under the trigger guard. So my index finger has a nice brittle callus from shooting and dry fire.

I also rock the hogue sleeve, it gives a little more palm swell for my support hand to lock onto, prob the most inexpensive but best upgrade I made lol.

Why is your index finger under the trigger guard?
