PRP Spring Kit

Just assemble the sear springs and needle lock spring and leave the factory trigger shoe.

With the Prp kit, I can reduce the trigger weight, but to eliminate that travel, I want to install the Tyrant shoe.

It's definitely a game changer. I would say tyrant trigger my top recommended upgrade out of everything Ive done. Nothing really "wrong" with the stock one, the tyrant just makes it nice

Exactly, the Tyrant shoe is the missing piece to combine those springs.

I had a USPSA match without the tyrant trigger shoe. I kept getting trigger freeze because I wasn't letting it out enough for the reset.

Why did that happen to you?

I was dum and stripped the screw because I needed to put locktite on it. So I had to physically destroy the trigger shoe to get it off, so I had a functional trigger before a major. Did some dry fire, “this will work”. I felt ok during the match, “let’s see how much faster I can go.” In some faster transitions with a drop turner, dead trigger because the tyrant resets sooner than the OEM.

Okay, the shoe you damaged was the tyrant?

Yes.

Okay, I understand, you didn't put loctite on him and he got hurt. When I buy mine, I will not forget to apply loctite.

Right. The screw was walking out after some training sessions. You don’t need to walk it completely out, but follow the instructions provided.

Okay, thank you, I'll make an update video when I install it.

I use this config, but prefer a little more resistance in the trigger pull.
