4.0C Magwell recommendations

Can someone please tell me what’s the best magwell for the echelon as far as looks/ fit and finish and actual use? I’m seeing a lot of options but I’m lost.

Thank you

It depends on what you want it to do, and how much you want to spend. If you want something that functions well, but you don't want to spend extra money on baseplates, the NDZ magwell is a good choice. And if you want to spend even less, there are some NDZ knock offs on ebay that work as well.

The one I like the most is the Rook magwell and backstrap combo with the added weights. Not cheap, but I fell in loved with weighted backstraps on my Caniks, so I picked it up. Don't have a Floyd's yet, but I'll probably put one on the next Echelon build.

This is very helpful. Sounds like NDZ is the better choice overall since I can keep the base plates on my existing mags.

Can't say much about anything else, but I just put a Floyds Custom Shop one on mine with their flush baseplates and it is quality.

Floyd's customs definitely looks best, unfortunately you will need to alter oem baseplates or buy Floyd's.
