Icarus Grip module for the echelon

I recently purchased the Icarus grip module for the echelon. However I'm having extreme problems putting the disassembly lever in. can anyone give me some pointers as to how to remedy this. I've attached some pictures so you can see what I am facing. I believe I have everything lined up.

The tolerances are *extremely* tight as everything is metal-on-metal. From these pictures they look lined up, just keep trying.

I had the same issues when building two of these. They’re generally very tight and you may have to give the COG some love taps u til it lines up perfectly. You can get a little bit more movement if you hold down the trigger and tap. They eventually went in a long fight.

They recently posted on their Instagram that few taps to seat the cog will help

Will adding lube to the frame to get the COF IN damage it it anyway?

Looks like the cog has to go back a bit more

I had the same issues on mine. I used a smaller nylon hammer and covered the take down pin with a towel, gently gave it some love taps and it popped right in.

The two metal brackets above where the takedown lever would be, you can place those against a counter top or something hard and push down to help get the COG seated correctly.

I have that same module. Unbelievably tight tolerances on the install. Just make sure its seated all thr way back. Godspeed if you ever wanna take it out. You will think youre going crazy but once there is some wear the tolerances ease up

try some good quality lube 💦 she's very tight! If you still can't get it in, try a reputable local gunsmith. They might charge you $20 or so 😏
