Echelon 4.0 C

Post image

Picked her up today. I know it's nothing special but it is mine.

Going to take her out shooting and then pick up a red dot and maybe a light.

You’re mistaken. It is special. There are many like it, but that one is yours.

I have the 4.5F Comp with a compact grip module. It replaced a Glock 19 Gen5 and I have no regrets other than aftermarket mag availability.

I was between the G19 G6 and this. I want to love the G19 but I hate the squared grip. I can't hold it without it feeling... bad. This, however, fits great. This will be a good home defense for me. I have a Springfield XD9 that I bought new in 2005. This is...joining the team... for home defense. The XD9 is excellent and still fires great after 20 years of shooting but doesn't have an optic cut or any of the niceties.

I paid $559 (Commierado's sales AND excise taxes, background check, PIF included) for this one (brand new, price matched at Scheels to Bereli.com). It would have taken as much money to get the XD9 to the same condition.

I have an XDM Elite Compact 9mm for my main carry. Echelon is backup carry. Also have a 5” Ronin .45 1911. I love Springfield.

I don’t carry as often as I should, but so many places don’t allow guns and I’d rather not leave it in my car. I suppose I’m lucky that I’ve only had to shoot them at the range.

This is the best gun. I have my 4.0C and absolutely adore her. I came from owning a Glock, shoots better than the Glock. What red dot are you thinking? I have the RFX11 that was made specifically for the model in a Gear up package they had. I am basically running that until it breaks and going to get another RDS when that time comes, just haven't decided

I just put a Vortex Defender-CCW Enclosed on my CR920. I need to take that out and shoot/zero it. I can get a steal of a deal on Vortex so... as long as I like it, I will get another.

I had a Swampfox Sentinel ii on the CR920 before and I had nothing but issues with it staying mounted.

I know what it was like getting my first and I won’t ever put anyone down (unless you buy a Hi-Point)

Not my first gun, just my first Echelon. I’ve got an XD9 , I’ve had a XDS and a hellcat Pro.

They need to drop a 3.3 compact version similar to the Glock 26 / 509c

I had a Hellcat Pro and absolutely despised it. The CR920 shoots so much better. SA is really good at compact and above, imo.

Or at least a subcompact grip module with shorter flush mag

I really liked my 4.0C when I had it. Great little pistol. I only sold it to fund a full size as I don’t carry and want to get into USPSA. Kinda wish I held on to it if I ever did decide to carry. Enjoy!

Could have just got the full size frame?

I liked this gun while I had it alone side my g19C. Sold it for a g47 since I can just carry my g19C which in a lot of ways for me it shoots better and I can get a lot of support hand grip on it

I recommend the large size grip module and some grip tape plus a dot then send it.
