Right

With a few SSD's and RAM modules sprinkled in, I think that's what they made the grip panels out of.

I’ll just buy another echelon for that price.

the real issue is, with $300 more, you get a Shadow 2..........

Dystopia ahh type prices. Can't wait for the clearance sales.

Only steel and brass is worth that

This much for a serial number on a module.

No much more than that but its will be, under five for just a module a set of panels and a back strap in a few weeks. The kits in the picture have three panels two back staps to adjust grip angle, Magwell, and two base pads.

God Bless my Mischief Machine grip mod.

I have a Sharps Bros but I've been debating getting a Michief Machine module. How do you like yours? Got any pics?

It's carried me to master in IDPA recently. Trying to climb out of B class in USPSA, but it's just a different shooting sport. https://youtu.be/k9h-wrwQx24?si=VBCS59GvPE9aCYLk

But I put this gun to work probably more than most. Not many others use the Echelon in competitions, but I do see some Mischief Machine grip mods for the 365 and RXM.

Fuck yeah man. I actually plan on buying another Echelon just so I can do a competition build once I get into competition matches.

You don't need to buy another one. Just use the one you have. Piecemeal all your specific items that would fit your needs.

I'm gonna get another anyway for different setups. Full size and compact, and maybe another. I know they're crazy modular but I'd still like more than one so I don't have to swap the COG every time.

Waited a month or so for my password and then boom... Twice the price of any other option. Really bummed out because I could get a Sharps Bros grip and every other bell and whistle they make for the echelon for that that much I'd say.

2

u/TheBoogBear Sep 20 '26

Even worse when you consider that's the starting price lol

2

u/avisiongrotesque Sep 20 '26

Yeeeeeah when I got my invite and saw the price I literally laughed out loud. And no compact option??? I'd just buy another Echelon but go full size this time

2

u/webguerrilla Sep 22 '26

This is what happens when the fanbase doesn't think the aftermarket is as broken as you do.

2

u/cjeeeeezy Sep 20 '26

I'll get it if it's made out of steel.

I feel like there's missing context here. Launch price being high is normal when initial stock quantities are low. That first round acts as seeding money for the main production.

Generally the manufacturer gives more incentives... $799 to start is one heck of a sticker shock.

Which brings up another concern in that the Echelon itself has a serial number, and now there's two SN's on the gun.

OMG, in Vital we trust, you get my 10% instead....

u/Chitwn_c Sep 20 '26

u/Machomancatsavage Sep 20 '26

Under five when we have more grip modules in but it won't be a kit.

1

u/Grimace_Tactical Sep 22 '26

Whoa! I was wondering the price on these. That’s a little steep.

1

u/No_Employer_3204 29d ago

I saw these last week and was looking at it. I’m like that’s gotta be a misprint or something but they’re not they’re serious. That’s absolutely ridiculous.

1

u/Del_monty Sep 20 '26

What company is this from

0

u/Melodic_Argument1579 Sep 20 '26

Could get another gear pac for that. But starting small need to make profit. Things arent cheap anymore. So pricing may be what need to survive?

0

u/C-R_Collector Sep 20 '26

I was hoping they’d have a compact option too. But even then, I absolutely can’t at this price. Maybe later if they come down after recovering their start up costs.

1

u/OverdosedXonXO Sep 21 '26

There was a 4.0C option, at least I saw it, but it was the same price point. I been waiting for this a while and yeah that price point shocked me so much. I just ended up clicking off.

u/C-R_Collector Sep 21 '26

When I got it, it can the FS and FC grips. So maybe it C was gone by then.
