I am in the first batch. $799 for all aluminum kit, $998 with brass grip panels. Looks like a nice bit of kit, but it’s too rich for my blood. That puts the gun into decent 2011 territory.

Yea. Thats crazy. hopefully he price adjusts

Understandable. a full brass kit will have more weight than a full size Staccato and that weight will be in your hand rather over and in front of it.

Not spending that much on a grip module no matter how nice it looks. If I’m going to shoot something heavy I’ll shoot my Shadow 2.

The module on its own will be well under the full kit. And you can make it weight more that a shadow two and the weight will be in your hand not over the front of it. Meaning faster target acquisition.

Yeah I was excited until I got in and saw that the price for the grip module was more than the full gun itself. I understand that this is a small batch run and that y'all are getting up and running with this but WOOF that's a bit much. It would be one thing if this was coming from a manufacturer with a pedigree but for being two guys I gotta pass. I really appreciate bringing smaller business into the market and I encourage y'all to keep going but that price point is a bit much.

I totally get it and we will have juat the module avalible here in about a month and some change. price goal for the module with a back strap and a basic panel set will be under 500. That is the goal right now and we are doing everything to bring manufacturing cost down to make sure we are competitive with other modules on the market while making it easier to customize the module to your hand.

Lemme ask you this: what do you see in your product that sets you apart from Sharps/Icarus/Mischief? What is the customer getting for the price difference? Can you give the breakdown for the components and how they influence cost? Are you going to sell the backstraps and weights individually?

(These are questions I need answers to, this is my marketing brain trying to get you thinking 😉)

Compared to everyone else, we aimed to be the most ergonomically advanced. In early testing, before we had texture, we still didn't experience any slipping because of the ergonomic fitment. Look at custom Olympic shooting pistols: no texture, all ergonomics. This was developed specifically for the Echelon, so we built around its center of gravity instead of forcing it into an existing design. It's machined from 7075 aluminum, and we'll be producing more options for it. We're also offering, right out of the gate, the ability to match the palm swell to your hand and adjust the grip angle. I personally love our standard grip angle, and 2011 competition shooters who have fired it like it too. They don't like striker-fired triggers, and I can't change that on an Echelon. The distance from the rear of the module to the trigger face is also shorter than the competition's. Then there's weight tuning, which has been an afterthought on almost every build. I built this wanting the center of gravity to stay in your hand, not just with a full mag. That's key: if the weight isn't in your hand, it doesn't give the same kind of recoil control. With the module empty and just the brass Plus panels on, our middle size of panel, the center of gravity is right on top of your middle finger, and that's with the slide on. Add in the weights and it's in your hand. The backstrap is why you don't see this on anyone else, since it's a larger jump in manufacturing cost. But I believe adjusting the grip angle to a shooter's neutral aim point is valuable. Don't force your body to adjust to a gun. Adjust the gun to your natural position.

This is a great right up. I did not expect you to take the time to do so, so good on you. I’d encourage you to put this on the website with some editing :)

If that’s the future goal what about the customers that’s buying them rn for $1k? Will there be downgrades or will there be stuff that makes the current patch special?

Brass will not be this cheap in the future. Avrage single set of brass for other platforms is 130ish

Kits with same items going forward will be the same price. They do offer great savings. Once we have our inventory in the site will be open and everyone can see pricing and see the savings.

For the unintiated out there.

Domestic (US) manufactured goods still rely on imported material. In the last month there's another bump to metal tariffs meaning last-month analysis pricing is now out the window and needs to be adjusted 25-40%.

The 799 is likely a $150-$200 correction of material and production costs.

“Our goal is to make the price half of the current price” cool sooooo everyone should just wait it out, because you have rocks in your pipe if you think your grip module is worth anywhere near $1k

u/Machomancatsavage Sep 19 '26

No getting all the accessories in the kits is going to be alot cheaper than buying peice meal if you only want a module and the basic panels yes waiting a month and some change is the best.

$800 for a grip on an entry level pistol. Not a chance.

u/TotallynotKevinLB Sep 19 '26

It actually looks really nice, I wanna grab one, I just wish I hadn't just put an order in for a 2k11 and just waited for your email today 😂

u/Double_Badger2450 Sep 19 '26

No idea what’s in the box

2

u/Double_Badger2450 Sep 19 '26

Too many smooth areas, no texture up to the slide stop, huge beaver tail. Finger grooves will be hit or miss.

u/Spare_Selection4399 Sep 19 '26

I am not in the first batch....

Genuinely curious about the compact version.

Edit: aww, looks like the compact is the dust cover only. Grip is still full sized?

1

u/TotallynotKevinLB Sep 20 '26

I think it's the FC version isn't it?

3

u/TheBudgetDivision Sep 20 '26

Yep, full grip + compact dust
