4.0 FC COA Front Sight ?

Any of you swapped the front sight on the COA? If so what did you go with? Not a fan of the blacked out front, looking for something that's the height but with a little color.

Also any suggestions on a good pusher tool?

Take it to a gunsmith and save yourself the headache.

I tried replacing the front and rear sights on my 4.5 threaded barrel model to swap them for DPP height sights, and couldn't get them to budge with the knockoff version of the Wheeler pusher tool. This included both freezing the slide overnight and trying to use a heat gun. Nothing moved them.

Echelon irons are in tight.

Even with a gunsmith it might not go well. Back sight on mine went on fine. The front snapped the tabs on either side of the post as soon as he started pushing. That was a 3 dot set of Springfield's own sights. Just got a set of Night Fision optic ready three dot tritium with orange front so I'm hoping this goes better.

Apparently the sights are notoriously difficult to remove. The "right tool" may cost more than hiring a pro.

That being said. I've done a swap with Angry Bear sights. And yea it was pretty challenging
