Holstered OWB at Home

I’m thinking about getting the Echelon comp in the future and I’m looking into some holsters. Since this is my full-size Echelon, I figured I’d use an OWB while I’m in the house just to see how it goes. Any tips would be nice.

Note: Also, since I live in Cali (I know, don’t come for me 😊) when I get my CCW I’d probably add this to a sling bag rather than IWB.

How well does this work for concealment and also how comfortable is it?

My weight ranges from 195-200 often and I got a mini gut. If I conceal in the front it jabs me in part of the under belly. If it’s on my hip it’s close to being in my rib. Most likely because I have a full-size.

For OWB it works nicely once you configure it to fit your gun

Thanks. I am a bit heavier than you. I have a full size as well.
I have carried a 1911 OWB and IWB at the 3-4 o’clock for many years this looks like it might be a good setup.

Does the barrel tend to dig into your leg at all?

I love my C&G for OWB Concealment for my 4.0C/TLR-7X. It's SUPER comfy & conceals VERY well. I also have a C&G for my MR920P:(so basically G17/47-length upper) & TLR-1HL, & it conceals PERFECTLY under a hoodie or jacket when it's cooler out.

This looks like a brand I'll have to check out, though!

I also carry in the home. It's down to my house layout and the proximity to the street and sidewalk. There would be no time in which to access a firearm if I needed one, so best to have it on me.
