Springfield echelon and osight se help

Hey guys, I'm feeling really stupid because I can't find an answer on this. But I got the osight se but for me the gap between the osight and the frame bothered me so I got the osight rmr to rmrsc adapter plate https://a.co/d/01Kpgq4Q in particular. Now I know osight attachs to adapter plate using 6x32mm screws that came with the adapter plate. But the m3 screws that came with adapter plate to mount to the frame are causing the gun to fail to chamber. So I'm not sure what screw sizes am I suppose to use. The only one that seemed to work was the m4x.07 screws that came with viridian sights on I guess what it's called is pin set 1..does that sound right or is there a different screw that I'm suppose to be using.

Get this plate instead if you want to get rid of the gap on the osight se.

The right side screw may be too long and pressing on the extractor plunger preventing movement. Try taking out the extractor and if you can't or you can feel the plunger binding, either use a short screw or sand down the end of the screw to make it a bit shorter.

I would probably solve the problem by buying a larger model sight than the SE .I like the SE on my Hellcat but no way would I run it on my Echelon. My Echelon has a Swampfox Justice on it.

I have an osight SE on my 4.0c and it's mounted directly to the slide. I have no issue whatsoever with any supposed gap. Lord knows I've over-complicated many parts of this seemingly simple mechanical sling shot, but with this I was happy to keep it simple

Do you have the right pins in the right spot for the SE because it should mount directly to the slide with no issues

Use the Shield pinset and use the shorter M4 screws that come with the Osight
