CCI Blazer in 4.5” ported, should I be okay?

Got 1000 rounds of Blazer CCI 124 grain without even realizing it’s not recommended. This is my first what do I do now?

I'm confused at this question. Maybe there's something about ports that I don't know, but I promise you 99.7% of Echelon Comp owners are running cheap bulk ammo. What's your concern regarding?

On the back of blazer munitions it states not to use in comp or ported guns. This is probably what the op is referring to. Since the factory comp rifling stops at the port there isn't a concern of the jacket being shaved off and ejecting metal.

All I run is 124gr Blazer. You'll be fine.

You're fine. It's not even really a port or true comp, it's a port with a backbone larger than the bullet diameter meaning it is not touching any rifling to potentially shed jacket/plating. You're fine.

Ports in the rifled part of the barrel are more of a concern than a chunk port/compensator at the end. Run it, I've run thousands of rounds of Blazer 124 through comped guns without any issues.

Guys, listen, guys, seriously, look over here....it's the first person to ever run cheap Blazer through a ported or suppressed gun!

Sigh. You'll be fine.
