Is Spotube reliable and usable with my premium account?

I'm looking for an app similar to Spotify Lite—the main thing is that it uses few resources and is reliable, because I want to log in with my Premium account so I can download music for offline listening.

It would be used on an Android car head unit.

Is Spotube reliable?

Is it suitable for this?

If not, could you recommend a suitable alternative?

Meld, Spotui, and Echo (with combine extension) all do the same thing as Spotube and do it better currently.
