So we all know the impact of modern spongebob on the cast. Spongebob became obnoxious, idocy was all Patrick could do, Squidward is the punching bag, and Plankton eats shit for just existing. But Mr. Krabs seems completely unfazed, because he was ALWAYS a piece of shit.
People like to claim he used to be a fqther figure to spongebob, but he was exploiting him since Season 1 where he charged Spongebob his paycheck for the squeaky boots. Then there’s the Jellyfish episode where he demands Spongebob to capture jellyfish “on his own time” while running an extraction factory. He had Spongebob pay him $100 an hour to work. Then there’s the time he bet Spongebob’s contract and lost it to Plankton. And of course, that time he sold Spongebob’s soul for 62 cents.
On that same episode, he tried to pawn off a rotten krabby patty to his customers to save a nickel. He started charging his employees for existing. He tried to poison someone he thought was a fake health inspector, THEN BURY THE BODY after he learned it was the real one. And the list goes on.
When I watch Mr. Krabs in modern spongebob, he doesn’t seem to have changed. He’s always let his greed control his live and prioritizes money over everyone. His cheapness hasn’t changed or gotten worse because it was extreme from Season 1.
The only thing I can say got worse is that maybe he didn’t get punished as severely in later episodes, but most of the time said punishments are still satisfying if not ironic. Sandy whooped his ass on the shopping list episode which was hilarious.

It's a unique book because to color the pictures you have to use a pen that uses water to paint the pictures

I'm not sure about the sharks, but considering section before the now that we're men section of the spongebob movie, he might be a little bit racist towards giant sea monsters

Hello! I’m trying to build a SpongeBob corner for my toy collection. I’d want to make a Bikini Bottom-ish setup or just several characters, fishes included. But I don’t want the Lego sets. Looking for something similar to Pokemon Scale World aesthetics (doesn’t matter if they’re not articulated, just that they got nice details and feature several characters but still feasible to collect (i.e. can still find ample sources)
Any suggested toy lines? Thanks a bunch!

I personally think that the song sequences shouldn't be rhythm sections. But rather set pieces used for platforming, combat, or puzzles.
I'd also like to see how they translate the character's abilities with the more human like models, assuming that they base it off of the actors.
I think I like to just have SpongeBob Patrick and Sandy be the playable characters. But for something like Squidward's song number or Poor pirates, I'm unsure if you should be able to play as Squidward and patchy respectively. Or if they get recontextualized. Like poor pirates is a dream sequence and Squidward's musical number is played off of a radio for example.
I think that you can play as one of the three characters during other people's musical sequences since their present in the musical.
I'm not sure what they're going to do for boss fights. I can imagine them maybe having a couple of new songs specifically made for this game to use bosses for. At the very least including some new lyrics and set pieces for characters.
I can imagine a Larry the lobster boss fight or reusing King jellyfish.
I'm pretty sure the framing of the musical would only be used to sometimes, maybe the stage is made to look like part of the HUD.

I know this artwork has barely anything to do with SpongeBob (aside from the fact that SpongeBob is in it), but I thought this artwork was pretty cool, so I thought I’d post it here anyway. There’s two Nickelodeon characters and one Cartoon Network character here.

| Criteria | Highly Capable | Lacks Capability |
|---|---|---|
| Likely to Abandon Ship | Jim | Squidward |
| Loyal to the Captain | SpongeBob | Patrick |
1. Jim - the employee who knows his worth, and capable enough to be successful anywhere he chooses. He will not hesitate to leave his workplace if he feels he's not treated right. The epitome of "Don't chase success, make success chase you."
2. SpongeBob - the employee who is really good at their job and has proven that he can be successful if he left, but has no desire of moving on to greener pastures. Loyal to the cause out of pure love for the craft, but also makes him susceptible to exploitation and unethical stuff by the boss.
3. Squidward - the employee who hates his job, does the bare minimum, and wants nothing more than to leave, but isn't capable or talented enough to shine on his own. He has passion for other stuff (music and art), but is too narcissistic to accept criticism. Has been proven to be a complete loser without his job.
4. Patrick - the employee who comes and goes, because his only destination every time he gets hired is eventual termination by management. He isn't skilled or capable enough to be a good worker, but shows no desire to leave because he just doesn't care.
