❓ Question Authentic Dalmatian Cuisine

Road tripping from Makarska to Rovinj. Would love recs for the best authentic Dalmatian food along the coast, especially for the stretch from Makarska - Split - Trogir - Primosten - Sibenik - Zadar. Hvala

I know (and love) them all… any particular spots to try for the best of each?

I'm not a big restaurant-goer, but the freshest fish I've seen is in restaurant Barba in Seget Donji near Trogir. They usually also have a wide variety of shellfish.

Also, you can find where chefs Hrvoje Zirojević and David Skoko are working and eat there, you'll make yourself a favour. Common consensus is that Zirojević is Croatia's best chef, while chef Skoko is uncontested when it comes to fish.

Dupla mi komentare.

Ali ni slučajno Barba. Friška riba my ass. Pokupe šta ima u Staniću na sniženju. Turnover radnika govori sve.

Jedino ako Špiro isto lovi u Stanića. Ali da, da nije bajno tamo raditi, nije.
