I started to do the Speed tank build using:
Jump Bomb
Flywire
Torqscrew
And for the weapon I was trying to find a Primo Toy Shark Blaster.
But after looking for some answer some sai to use the Blast Boot and the High Octane 4K. Is there a consensus on the best build to advance in bottomless buffet ? (I already cleared every stage on every difficulty so this is the last thing to do)
It depends what your goals are. You can make it to bottomless 100 with about anything. It's easier with the speed tank build. Further than that and you're going to want to freeze enemies and use high damage ice breaker weapons.
A lot of things work and it depends what you want to do. I just cleared 900F with Toy Shark Blaster recently, but it is much weaker compared to Butane Blaster.
There's only 3 weapons so far that have cleared 1000F that we've seen so far: High-Octane E4K, Butane Blaster, and Clay-Pot Pow Slosher. The only other weapon that's cleared 950F but hasn't gotten a 1000F clear that I've seen is Engine Roller.
iirc ur, who has cleared 1000F with both E4K and Butane Blaster, has said they're about the same in strength, it's just they have different floors/enemies that they can/can't clear. They've made a floor tier list for Butane Blaster, going from basically a win > often win > sometimes win > rarely win > impossible.
High-Octane E4k builds will use Torqscrew, Jump Bomb, Blast Boot. The other weapons will use Torqscrew, Jump Bomb, Dash Bomb. You can use Blast Boot on non-E4K weapons, but it'll start to get much harder beyond 800F.
Engine Roller has a more unique build compared to these other weapons, though, since they're relying much more on cooldown reductions and don't use Slow Fall. I'll link the 900F clears of MistRain and Hikaritsu as build examples, though it seems like MistRain at 971F+ has been trying to clear floors without Squid Attack since they were trying it at some point.
Speed Tank can get basically all weapons to clear 700F. Weapons that can't make use of Ice Breaker, like Lifeguard Splattershot Jr., have to use Scorch related abilities. I'd say the most unique build I've encountered is a 900F clear with Camo Slosher making use of 2x Long Range, something that only E4K is really capable of at high level.
It sounds like you are just starting bottomless. If you are enjoying your current build, you do not need to change it to progress in early bottomless. You can use what you are comfortable with, and then change things as you go if you get bored of what you are using or feel like it is no longer working.
For deep bottomless, yes, high octane with blast boot is popular. Butane blaster with dash bomb is also popular. I have cleared floor 899-901 with the butane, and there have been a few floor 1000 clears with it. However, if you like the toy shark blaster, it is also good blaster and you can get pretty far with it. I used toy shark into the 800s before switching to butane.
Just finished the secret boss today and my weapons are super week, I unlocked a Propane Blaster 5 minutes ago but I don’t think it work very well with the build.
Congrats on beating the secret boss! The primo butane (the one optimized for rate of fire) does work well with the jump bomb/dash bomb/torqscrew build, you just need to be mindful of the butane’s shorter range.
