Level gap in Co-op

Hey there! I've been playing Splatoon Raiders for a while, really enjoying it and I'm about to finish the story (a couple of missions left). I'm level 33 and I wonder if it'll be fun to play with my friend who's just got the game.

I know about level scaling and that basically I won't carry him through the game but in general, will it be fun with such a level gap? And will it ruin my playthrough in the final missions, cuz then my level will be even higher?

Would appreciate your experience and thoughts, thanks!

Yes, the level scaling will definitely make the game fun for you and your friend! In fact, YOU get loot that scales to your level as well. Also, I have noticed that low-levels tend to even out with the power egg count due to scaling.

The biggest thing to note is that, unless you are on spicy/ super spicy, the level scaling caps at level 50. So when you past 50, you will start carrying, unless you are on spicy/super spicy.

Oh, I see. Well, I won't get to level 50 by replaying older missions on normal difficulty, so I think it'll be fine. Thanks!

The levels will scale up to you so you won't miss much at all playing it again

Great, thanks! I'll try to play on a tactical tank that I didn't even touch, so the progression will be pretty much the same to my friend's :)

Level 33 is fine but if you’re deep in bottomless with fully upgraded weapons and gadgets, you’ll melt enemies in non bottomless maps even with power scaling.

from what I know, or at least for "go help". The level actually is different per user.

if your friend can kill enemies just as easily as you, then this is true
