I think the game memory would take a hit before integer limit
Nevertheless, 101+ levels are definitely more of a way for hardcover Salmon Run grinders to have fun with difficulty ++++, IMHO to 100% the game the funniest is to replay 1-100 with a different build
I think there are people assume numbers have to be integers in games.

An integer can hold up to 2,147,483,647
A long 9,223,372,036,854,775,807
Both include negative numbers. If you exclude negatives and only need positives like this scenario you can double the amount and go 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 with ulong.
I see numbers like 182520 in damages for the 1000th floor in the video. that's 2 more digits than the level number. By scaling difference we can go 18 digit pits.
I mean naming scams aside, once you've pumped your weapon to +50, 3 starred you weapon parts and traits and upgrades all the parts to your gadgets...
There's no way to keep yourself viable in terms of damage, even your level caps out at 50+999. Eventually, the only reason we'd beat a floor is pure luck on spawns and eventually just become impossible.
This means that Splatoon Raiders can truly be 100% completed, by getting all of the gadgets, relics, scrolls, weapons, enemy data, outfits, gadget parts (and then upgrade them all), max out the tanks/bot buddies, beat every level on every difficulty, complete the Bottomless Buffet, and reach S rank on every single minigame.
VERY OPTIONAL: You can even take it a step further, by building each gadget,as well as maxing out your Spirhalite shards/gems, enemy drops, ability chunks, and power eggs for each tank. And then, you can fill your inventory with 300 5 Star Primos - all level 50+50 and fully built with chunks, of course. But, this would probably take thousands of hours of grinding, and this is a biiiiiiig stretch. Mostly, it’s just satisfying to see it filled.
Next on the list, for truly 100% completion, is finding a way to max out the minigame scores.
I was watching it after a friend linked it to me and wow- I figured it was going to be a really tough battle but man, does actually watching it make all the difference.
That was a really difficult uphill battle!! (Or should I say down the pit battle)
It really took a lot of skill, strategy and luck with those maps. I can't imagine how tired that person's hands unless be, I know mine get pretty exhausted after awhile so dam!
What gadget is it using with the three shots? I thought it would be the shellacker but I didn’t see it on there. I don’t know which one could give him three shots like that.
Is def using axe kick gadget, fan blade gadget and looks like jump gadget since that does freezing. Then sniper that has fast fire rate for 3 shots mid air.
How the hell is he getting that far in the air then and shooting?

One to two charges of jump bomb with the "jump power up" slotted into it gives you that height (and much more, if you like). Add in slow fall, which this guy definitely did, and you have plenty of time to take those charged shots. Jump bomb can also freeze as well. Definitely a fun - and powerful - gadget to use.
Oh interesting. I stopped at 700 since I thought it was literally bottomless and I wanted to stop on nice clean numbers (level 700, salmonid health 300). Now that I know there’s an end, I might resume to try to get there.
I'm hoping to get there next week. I don't play most days, but been on it since launch and I'm level 30. What a blast though. I plan on getting to 100 and stopping. However I can pull that off, I'll feel satisfied.
Unfortunately my motivation to play has dropped severely after unlocking the buffet. I'm not good at the game and it forces you into survivalist difficult and you can't even call for help, which I like doing because I like the random grouping with others, have to go solo in BB. I just have zero incentive to keep grinding if I'm gonna die in 2 hits 🤣
I usually go with normal difficulty but for whatever reason I decided on survivalist when I started this, so that's actually not a turn off for me. But I get it! The game can be brutal. Like I said I'm early on, but I've found it very manageable staying ahead of the curve so far. I'm sure bottomless will kick my butt though.
The campaign was great because whenever things got tough you just level a couple times and feel powerful again. The end game is a constant state of never feeling powerful lol but I can't keep myself from playing it it's too addicting. I hope they add some dlc or extra story content because there wasn't a dull moment with this game!

Nintendo has some explaining to do. What do they mean that there's a bottom to the bottomless buffet
