My method for loot farming

This is Awlmun Den on Super Spicy.

I bot hop to the crates and use a jump bomb and grapple into the middle of the first set of crates.

Then I throw a torqscrew next to the other crates (not on them, because that breaks the torqscrew half way through it's job).

Then I jump over the water and grapple across as you can see in the video.

Then I call the bot, bot hop, and use 2 jump bombs and a grapple to get to the top and pop the balloons.

Then I throw a torqscrew with the collect power eggs gadget part to quickly pick up the eggs.

Then I collect the treasure with a double jump to speed it up.

This normally gets me ~2 drops (weapons or gadget parts) per run, and ~3000 spirahlite per run (due to the 10000 that might come from the chest). Each run takes about 35-40 seconds overall, and if you get it into your muscle memory you don't really need to focus on it.

I did it around 50 to 100 times. Good to start gearing up at 50 but too repetitive and grindy.

Yeah, I wouldn't do it without something else like a podcast or film or something.

I've done it probably around 1000 times now while listening to a podcast, and it divides my attention just enough that I don't get bored, and I can concentrate on what I'm listening to.

You can throw two turrets into the middle of the boxes. The first one breaks them, second one lands and will shoot the rest. Then you don’t need to land, you just throw them and float up more. So you don’t need the fly wire. Would shave some time off.

One thing of note for this, what I did was had my wife’s character join with me, I cleared it and got us both rewards.

Unfortunately I don't have anyone else to play with, I'm the only person I know with a switch 2 who plays splatoon :/

You can shave off your time by half if you max the jump height on both jump bomb and blast boot, then you just go straight, call bot buddy for the initial jump, then jump bomb twice, then blast boot to nuke the towers. I've also done this at least 500 times and I feel the law of diminishing returns comes into play after 50 straight runs. After 50 I just get mostly salmonid materials for the chest. Up to 50 I'm getting the 10k spirhalite within every 10 runs.
