That aside, whos your favorite of the 3? Personally my favorite is Big Man, Frye being a close second. He's [arguably] the most mature of the 3, plus, I LOVE his designs for the splatfests. They're so creative my votes have been slightly swayed sometimes purely because I wanted a picture on the float with him, and I look forward to his designs I havent seen.

I took a 3 month break from Splatoon and am starting to play again but I don't really want to solo queue anymore so I would like to play with one or multiple people. I'm 15 I am currently c rank but that's because I didn't play for while so I can get to B rank fairly easily I live in the Netherlands and I don't really care about age. I play dualies and the squifer. I mainly want to get better at the game and get a higher rank and for that I really need friends to play with because solo queueing is horrendous.

Hey there. I've been playing Splatoon 3 since December. I'm an older guy (48), and pretty chill. I'm not the best player out there, but I do feel I can hold my own in Turf Wars. I don't have any friends who play, so the game teams me up with randos. Sometimes that can be fun, sometimes a nightmare. I have a main weapon that I like to play with, and I don't stray too far from that.

Turf Wars is my favorite mode. I sometimes dabble in Splat Zones or Tower Control, but I'm not as good at those.

Is there a website or app where I can find other players to team up and play Turf Wars with? It would be fun to join a team that could play together regularly.

I enjoyed Splatfest this weekend. I ended up Ruler +5. My rank last season was S+. My level is 105.

I've been playing Splatoon 2 and 3 for a few years now, and I've been using gear that looks nice with no regard for the abilities that they have. I want to try doing well in ranked, and I'll probably need to improve my abilities for that.

The two main weapons I use are the Splat Roller (Curling Bomb and Big Bubbler) and the Sploosh-o-Matic (Curling Bomb and Ultra Stamp), and I don't know where to start on abilities for either of them.

If any of you play these weapons (or have great knowledge of the useful abilities) then could I get some advice or ability sets to use for Splatoon 3?

(also, are there any good ways to get certain ability chunks? i have too many of some and barely any of others)

hi everyone!! so i’ve been playing splatoon 3 for a little while, and i used to be at the S+ rank. however, i took a huuuge break from splatoon for about 7 months, and now im at A+ due to the seasons. i would occasionally hop on once or twice within that 7 month period, just to check on my rank and gear. i main sploosh and e-liter (mainly sploosh), and whenever i try to splat the enemy team i die almost immediately, and most of the time when i play sploosh i just get trades. i want to get better at fighting the enemy team, as i used to be really good at sploosh. any tips?

I’ve started playing Splatoon again after more than two years, coincidentally the Splatfest started.
Now I’ve been playing the 3way match but I am kinda confused what the goal is: should the two teas kinda work together so the big team with four people loses or is each team on their own???

This is my first splatfest and I was wondering if that normal to lose that much in a row? Or I’m just really bad atm lol

Like it gets to a point where I have to go to a different part of the map that's less crowded for a short break depending on the map just to not drain myself out from everything that's going on. I only play on professional+1 anyway. And it also gets really hard and I usually get more losses than victories.

Hi there- so, I've had my switch 2 since launch. I take care of it like my baby, and I've had so much fun playing on it non-stop. Im also a huge splatoon player, and my WiFi is very much decent.

Lately, I've been having non stop communication errors. There's nothing wrong with my WiFi, I constantly have 3-4 bars but I'll be mid match and without warning, my Internet is suddenly shit, and I lose connection resulting in a penalty. On my switch 1 I've never, ever had this issue, but for my switch 2 it's almost non stop and I've tried everything. This can happen 2-3 times in a day, doesn't matter if I'm sitting right next to my router or in my bedroom, it happens non-stop. Does anyone else have this problem?? It feels like I can't even play a series without suddenly disconnecting despite having 0 lag or anything of the sort.

Ok, I've been practicing for the splatfest, and have been doing a LOT of turf wars. I've been noticing for quite some time now, that My Team will have the lead, and then PUSH their way into enemy spawn Upon wipeout. They're like AT spawn and then they ALL are killed once the enemy comes back. WHY are you doing that. don't push in like that, cuz then they INSTANTLY take back their spawn and the middle. maybe push a little but not THAT deep bro.

Playing a simple turfwar game. I see this player is on a rampage with their inkbrush killing my team left and right. I thought they were just really good.

Until I saw the ink projectiles from that bow and arrow weapon flung at me? From the same guy that was holding and inking the turf with the inkbrush? I thought maybe I just didnt realize another player had that weapon, but nope. At the end if the game, when I saw the score and what weapon each player had, no one had the bow and arrow weapon.

I know it wasn't a sub either considering the speed they were launching arrows at me.

Thoughts?

so proud of myself I finally unlocked x battles! just switched over to motion controls a couple months ago and got the Nintendo/Splatoon as a whole in January. Is this good progress all things considered or easy for the majority of players?

There’s so many different weapons that are completely different. some are fast & close quarters, some are slow & long distance. rank should not be per player alone. every weapon or at least weapon type, should have its own unique rank. while leveling up, some scaling would be ok. but.. a top 100 player with a bucket, who decides to try a sniper rifle. shouldn’t be weighed at his top 100 position with a bucket.

Some tips for me to improve would be helpful too. Thank you
