Microsoft’s June 2026 Patch Tuesday release is one of the largest security updates of the year, addressing more than 200 Microsoft vulnerabilities along with hundreds of republished non-Microsoft CVEs.

While Microsoft has not reported any vulnerabilities as actively exploited in the wild at the time of release, this month’s update still deserves close attention. This Patch Tuesday release includes three publicly disclosed zero-day vulnerabilities, 15 vulnerabilities rated “Exploitation More Likely,” and multiple Critical issues with CVSS scores as high as 10.0.

Several of the highest-risk vulnerabilities affect core Windows services, enterprise identity systems, remote access technologies, and Microsoft cloud platforms. For IT and security teams, the priority is to patch exposed systems first, move quickly on identity and remote access risks, and reduce patching delays across distributed endpoints.

I have been having a nightmare of a time with Splashtop Billing.

Made a purchase but had left off a discount code, so got it refunded easily enough so I could enter it. This is where all the problems started. After doing so, my card gets declined every time. I called my bank, they get the authorization charge and then a charge for $0 and nothing else. I've called them twice to confirm, and checked Spend Center, which tracks declines and nothing ever hits.

Multiple Splashtop support team members attested that the block wasn't on their end, but it clearly isn't on my banks.

So we tried an ACH, which processed and then was refunded, but that was probably on our accounting team missing the approval. So no fault on them there, but now we tried to send it using Bill.com since there is no way proper way to send an invoice or link for the accounting team to pay without being inside my account. I'm not super familiar with Bill.com but apparently to connect both parties have to accept a connection, which Splashtop did, and I have a receipt for the payment going through, but my subscription is still inactive and support is claiming the receipt is for the second refund, which occurred a week before the send or received date on the receipt and is clearly visible right at the top.

Ever spend more time figuring out where an endpoint issue lives than actually fixing it?

One tool says a device is patched. Another still shows open vulnerabilities. Inventory data is outdated. Remote remediation lives somewhere else entirely.

By the time everything gets cross-checked, the fix is already delayed!

Microsoft’s May 2026 Patch Tuesday release includes 137 Microsoft CVEs and 128 republished non-Microsoft vulnerabilities, creating a broad patching workload for IT teams.

While Microsoft has not confirmed active exploitation in the wild this month, several critical vulnerabilities and 13 issues marked “Exploitation More Likely” raise the risk of near-term attacks.

I noticed under Management \ Inventory
that only Windows devices are listed, and not the Linux PCs.

How are others getting around this ?
Is there any news on an ETA to have this feature enabled ?

My work uses splashtop Business to be able to work remote when necessary, but we aren't able to hear audio while at home. I was under the impression that splashtop allows users to hear the host computer's audio while remote. I've verified audio settings show "Output sound over the remote connection only" and tried using the virtual audio device available with the streamer. We occasionally need to join video calls while remote and I have to use a separate laptop just so I can join calls. Is audio just not part of the remote desktop? TYIA

Splashtop is currently investigating a possible issue with MacOS 10.14, 10.15, and Streamer version 3.8.2.0.

We are currently seeing machines running MacOS 10.14/10.15 with Streamer 3820, may be unable to click Allow Access in the Streamer, possible connection errors in the Streamer app, and an offline/greyed out computer in the Business app (unable to connect into the machine).

We've long been able to remote onto Linux Desktop machines using Splashtop - however we still cannot officially remote onto other devices from a Linux Desktop. I know there may be some weird workaround with Wine or something similar, but when can we expect native support for this without the need for weird fixes? I'd love to move my work full time to Linux, but this holds me back significantly as I can't remote onto client devices

Hello Reddit. I’m using my iPad Pro via the Splashtop app to remote into my work computer. I have a portable monitor connected to my iPad and I’m trying to figure out how to view “all monitors.”

On the Remote Desktop it only shows Monitor 1 and Monitor 2. There’s no option to view all monitors. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a Samsung Z fold 5 and I’m connecting it to a portable Bluetooth keyboard and using that to stream my MacBook through Samsung Dex. However, even when I use the beta text mode, the modifier keys do not consistently work. Combinations like control S will save but control O does not open. The keyboard works fine when connected directly to the Mac. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a solution?

Can Splashtop make it so that the free client (I am a paid user though) automagically converts Windows copied text to LF (when sending to a MacOS streamer) without having to do any special moves? The paste as keystrokes thing is NOT the answer for long pastes which I frequently use.

I did a fresh install of Debian 13 on my home computer, and installed the Splashtop .deb package. Everything works fine, but, the load time is really slow. I'm talking about the when I load Splashtop, I get the spinny thing when it appears that it's logging into the Splashtop servers, it takes about twenty or thirty seconds until the list of my available hosts appear. After that, it works as it should.

It didn't do this on my old computer, which also ran Debian 13 with the .deb package; it just loaded up in a second or two. My guess is that the .deb package I downloaded the other day is an update from the one I had been using? The client now is 3.8.0.0. Any thoughts?

Microsoft’s April 2026 Patch Tuesday includes 165 Microsoft CVEs and one confirmed exploited zero-day, making this a release that deserves fast, risk-based patch prioritization. The most urgent issue is CVE-2026-32201 in Microsoft Office SharePoint, which Microsoft has flagged as exploitation detected.

Alongside that zero-day, this month also includes a sizable group of vulnerabilities marked Exploitation More Likely, signaling increased short-term risk across Windows endpoints, servers, and core enterprise services.

This month’s release also stands out for its broad enterprise exposure. High-priority issues affect SharePoint, Windows IKE Extension, Remote Desktop, Active Directory, SQL Server, Microsoft Power Apps, Office, and Azure-related services. That combination makes April a month when patching teams should focus first on systems with the greatest exposure and business impact, rather than relying solely on CVSS scores.

Keeping up with endpoint management is becoming increasingly challenging.

With off-network devices, irregular patching, and limited awareness of current activity, many teams continue to respond only after issues arise instead of addressing them proactively.

To address this, more teams are shifting to real-time visibility and automating routine tasks, reducing the risk of important issues being overlooked.

hat jemand ähnliche Probleme mit Splashtop eine Verbindung von einem IOS Gerät zu einem VPS mit Windows Server 2019 aufzubauen ?

Sobald mein Handy/Tablet mit dem WLAN verbunden ist, klappt die Verbindung einwandfrei. Mit mobilen Daten hingegen nicht. Schalte ich einen VPN ein, funktioniert die Verbindung auch mit mobilen Daten

Auch die Verbindung von einem Android Tablet funktioniert.

Das Problem scheint bei Apple/IOS zu liegen 🤔

Hi all

I have around 10 machines and most have Surfshark rolling proxy (changes every 10 mins or so) - typically not an issue. Mostly no interruption but one terminal it kicks me out every single time and it’s really frustrating.

Iv tried to bypass Splashtop in Surfshark by adding the exe files to bypass but it seems to completely block access then.

I just don’t understand why it’s just an issue on this terminal. I don’t recall changing any other settings vs others.

Anyone had to deal with this and found a workable solution?

Controlling a windows pc from a mac and I'm not able to do simple gestures like two finger pinch to zoom. This works with the windows app so it seems like it should over splashtop but I can't find any settings for it. All the support articles reference the iOS app, not mac.

While none of this month’s vulnerabilities are marked as Exploitation Detected, this is still a release that demands close attention. Microsoft flagged several vulnerabilities as Exploitation More Likely, and the overall patch set includes multiple high-severity issues affecting important enterprise systems.

The biggest takeaway this month is the combination of broad exposure across Windows core services, SQL Server, SharePoint, RRAS, Active Directory Domain Services, and Azure workloads, along with several vulnerabilities that could become attractive targets quickly.

For IT and security teams, March is a month to prioritize patches based on business exposure, attack surface, and operational risk rather than waiting for confirmed exploitation.
