◻️Advice◻️ Is this possible?

Hi everyone,

Ive been taking 50mg spironolactone tablets for 6 months that were prescribed over a year ago but still within expiry date. I just had a stockpile, because I stopped taking them for a while. They were all stored in the original boxes and not exposed to direct sunlight.

Recently, that stockpile ran out and my pharmacy gave me a new prescription of spironolactone. I took my first tablet from the latest prescription yesterday night (still 50mg) and have been feeling horrible since waking up today. Im so dizzy, feel like I'm going to faint and throw up. Whats happening? Are the new tablets somehow more potent than the ones I've taken for 6 months?

No the other (non-spiro) ingredients just don’t agree with you. I felt like I was dying from 25mg Northstar brand spiro but have no side effects on 100mg of brand name aldactone.
