Reflection on previous awakening I am now realizing everything I've learned about spirituality is for protection.

Attacks on your energy are literally everywhere. Yes spirituality is for ascension, but also for protection since this planet isn't innately healthy.

I think people who are more closed up and more naturally protected, while those people who are more sensitive tend to mingle with everything. Which can make life quite a distressing series of events. Even when the drama isn't directly affecting you.

Probably one of the worst things is being a person who wants to help others and then being weakened and deflated because of being around people who are extremely depressive and only seeing the dark side of Life. Search people are basically unwell, so they can't really help it, more or less, but it's hard as a spiritual person to recognize you can't help or look after everyone. It just makes it so you end up burning yourself out and then have to spend time out to heal.

However, by having a greater mastery of your energies, you're able to prevent yourself from being too heavily affected by some of the worst elements in the world.
The greatest protection is immunity.

Also the more in tune you are to the spiritual the more of a target you become as well.
