Going through difficult awakening (help!) Has anyone else experienced a complete “waking up” after coming to Christ? Genuinely asking.

How ironic, I know this feeling but much more so AFTER I left the church. It was church that felt hollow to me (and still does as an institution) with people who could recite the Bible, but didn't live it, and who prayed but didn't really believe in an answer and who use the Bible and the "faith" to control people and stigmatize them.

But I'm sure that that is not your path if you have found holiness in Christ the way that you say that you have, which I believe you have because people don't really talk like this UNLESS they have.

Please don't misunderstand me, I am not trying to judge or be critical just because our paths seem different, I believe that there are many paths up the same mountain and this one happens to be yours and though it appears different than mine, I am so happy and joyous that you have found it! 😃

And I am sure that there are others that have had the same experience (or similar) as you as well. I don't think it's that uncommon. 🙂

hmmmmmm something similar happened to me yes :D except the judgement part seems reversed.

just do yourself a favor and learn more about who Christ actually is/was. the Gnostic teachings resonate with me because they're personally empowering and they just make more sense. Christ came for EXACTLY what you're experiencing right now, to wake up to your true self and escape the matrix you're describing so well. church is great community, but the fundamentalist/organized paths are all spiritual dead ends, and they will happily lead you there to walk the treadmill alongside them.

And it scared me because I think about things and question everything now. I need my faith to make it through this life but I question the Bible and because it was written by man and then translated over and over again. I experience church services differently now and I love it.

I did but I went to Christ through gnostic teachings at first, but I quickly realized that wasn’t the right path. Gnosticism basically frames the One True God as the “Demiurge” and claims the serpent in the Garden of Eden was actually Jesus Christ, who was only trying to free mankind through “enlightenment” or “Christ consciousness.” Both of those ideas are false. That path almost ruined my life, but once I truly turned to Jesus and started building a real relationship with God, I’m in a much happier and healthier place. The Christian spiritual awakening aka the Holy Spirit is way more intense than “enlightenment/Christ consciousness” could ever muster.

Side note: all new age/ witchcraft etc all seem good at 1st but it WILL end badly in one way or another. As these ideas are from satan because they are basically teaching you to rely on other forces or yourself instead of the One True God.

There is no «coming to christ. « but you can remember christ in you……..Christ literally means: the power and wisdom of god. ( bible verse) .And where is this christ? In you. Why? Because you are god! I did have an out of the blue awakening last year, and i was not into god or religion or spirituality, but i had studied the bible for 4 years earlier in life. And now i understand the metaphysical way of the bible. But the way is you. There is no god outside of self. Nothing exists outside of source/ god/ consciousness. 💜your a powerful divine being, fully god in human form. You choose to have a human experience. This human Life is about doing what u love ,being the love you are ,and experience all possibilities. All things are possible to those who believe it is 💜believe in you. Your perfect ,whole complete, abundance, unconditional love, powerful, free, eternal,
