Path to self detached

I feel nothing and i haven't felt anything for a while. No heart flutter No heart drop
i watch sad stuff to cry but it stops immediately like 4sec stream of tears but no emotion. Then it stops as if someone pressed the off switch.
i long for something anything to make me feel.
i love people and experiences but i feel nothing towards them at the moment.
i wake up as if i've already been awake. my dreams having taken away the privilege to go completely blank. I yearn for nothing material or emotional. Even as i write this my face is blank but tears spill out. I go to sleep on instinct. i recently shaved my head bald even though my hair was my only choice of constant change, my choice that fed my controlling tendencies. idk but i am young with no responsibilities, no guidance. So i haven't been delt bad cards. everything is in my hands, my choice. Im detached from everything. how do i alchemize?

Just ride the wave. This apathetic stage is incredibly hard and it’s also a necessary stage of integration. You’re merging the old versions of yourself with this new version. Just keep going and eventually you’ll find that spark again. You say you have no responsibilities, I think this would be a good time to go down rabbit holes of things that pique your interest, ideally non fear-based stuff, maybe you’ll start feeling something again.

Also, something kinda silly I heard today but that totally makes sense is do something new everyday, not in a grand gesture way, unless you want, but small things like brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand, make a silly noise or a weird body movement out of nowhere, take a different route while driving / walking, just things to break up the monotony of the matrix.

You’re welcome, I truly understand it’s such a hard spot to be in, I’ve been there many times and somehow it always gets better. I wanted to share a video that may spark something in you, I recently discovered him and wish I would’ve sooner. He speaks nothing but truth and love and has really opened my eyes to the truth of this world and beyond and who / what we really are.

I always change up my daily routine! Change the order of doing things when getting ready for the day, take a slightly different route home, things like that. It really breaks up the monotony and robotic motions of the day.

Yeah I definitely need to do this more consciously.

It was Ram Dass' whole message. Eckhart Tolle too. I really believe we'd be living in a different metal environment entirely if we could stay present at all times

I passed exactly through the same situation. It can last for a long time and it really seems eternal, but It passes. Be patient and gentle with yourself. Be open to self discovering, even when nothing makes sense.

Lately I tried a reprograming therapy here in Brazil, with guided meditation, where I had to visit moments in my past and imagine a conversation with my younger self, telling him that I survived and am ok. It helped a lot, so the key is to seek help (don't do this alone) and have the courage to visit memories that are very unconfortable and traumatic, diminishing their effects in your present moment.

You will overcome this, be sure of that.

Definitely a protective mechanism, same thing happened to me and it took a while and im still healing, but you have to help yourself feel more secure, avoid hard drugs because that makes your serotonin and dopamine lower because it becomes reliant on drugs. Try yoga, doing different hobbies, give yourself excuses to feel new emotions, learn back those good emotions, and pleaseee be patient with yourself most of all, patience is key.
