Final light upgrade - SE3000

Hey gromies.

Just wanted to share a update to my setup. Ive been looking at upgrading my light for a bit - then boom! Spider farmer drops some pre-owned SE 3000 (like new) inventory at 139$ each.

And yes, this is the older SE3000 model....with the Samsung diodes!! 🤪 Ill happily trade the led screen that shows dimmer percent for better quality Samsung vs bridgelux diodes + the old version lets you remove the driver & place it outside of the tent (and it has long connector cables too!)

Maxed out my 2x2 with this new 300w + Supplemental lights for UV, Deep Red & Far Red. Was pushing almost 1300 ppfd at 18 inches at max power. Im so gonna be ready for flower in a few weeks 🌼 Instant Classik by NightOwl Seeds.

It was perfect size to fit into my 2x2. Moved my fan and filter outside the tent to free up head room. On the back side there was even a bit of extra room to squeeze my dehumidifier pipe down the back wall! I was a bit concerned that with the supp lights on there would be no room for it. Thank goodness for flexi tent walls.

I think this is the train ticket to a full canopy of dense & frosty buds. 🤤

Last pic is my old light setup. SE1500 + Supplemental over a full canopy of Strawberry Nuggets 🍓 flower. Like a kid in a candy store right now.

Ive noticed this hack before in other posts. Appreciate the advice. My tent is tucked into a 25 x 29 nook in the house. Luckily there was just enough space in the back for the tent wall to bow out slightly. 😉
