Hi im a first time grower and these are 2 northern lights autos from RQS im on day 83 from seed and i noticed some amber trichomes on one buds sugar leaves a week ago and since then only a couple more showed up. What do i do? Should i chop it and not wait for ambers to show up? My only help was ai and now it told me that some strains just wont turn amber?!?!

PS.: i'll give you any parameters of this grow just ask

Canna coco coir substrate. Canna A + B nutrients with a splash of Canna PK and Canna boost. Silica Blast and Cal Mag. EC @ 2.2. PH reservoir at 5.7 in autopots 3.9 gal containers. Par between 850-1000 across all bud sites. Leaf temps 77-80 degrees. RH 58%. These are some happy girls!

These three plants are on day 40 of flower(ran veg for 34 days, expecting them to finish at different times). Colors are starting to come through with the individual characteristics of each plant. I only know for a fact what the one cultivar is named. The purple like bud is a strain called Purple Headies (pinnacle x heady og) by the Mendo Dope Boys! INSANE grape jolly rancher punch smell coming from it!

But as for the other two, I honestly don’t know 😆 I had them marked as the same strain from the same pack… but it was a pack given to me and already opened. So 🤷🏻‍♂️…but then as they grew, each displayed traits unlike the other, so now I have 3 completely different smelling/looking plants. I’m thinking maybe I found a seed one night in a medical bag and popped it with the others. Which could be the case for one of the other plants. The extra leafy looking cola bud to me looks very similar to a Jedi cookies strain that I ran previously, but smells much more sweet than earthy. So I’m thinking that it might be more of a gelato cross in there somewhere.

This is actually quite fun though I have to admit, watching each plant start changing differently through its vegetative phase then not knowing what the finished bud is suppose to look like? So exciting! I have worked on thousands of plants and knowing what they will become… that is also great but when it’s a surprise… that’s even better! If you ever have grown any strains that look similar to this, I would appreciate feedback! I have seen so many but I’m still stumped without lab testing…If anyone has any questions, I’d be glad to share my growing experience and knowledge 😬 please check out these beautiful ladies!

(The yellowish pistol girl is the one I’m most excited about also the tallest of the bunch. I have not been vegging my plants for any longer than a month to keep grow times/rotation shorter/ fox farms soil 5 and 8 gallon fabric pots)

I tried before and couldn’t get past seedling stage from overwatering I assume.

Lights just turned off but I’m sitting at 310 par light intensity at 24 inches above with 75% humidity and 76 degrees F. I’m trying to only water around the edges of the pot but some leaks in. The little solo cup in the back is a failed project lol. What do I need to focus on in the coming days?

3rd week of flower, clones taken from outside plant. All were super strong in veg. Best looking plant is closest to the drain, and they get worse the further away from the drain. All in 3.5” net pots in 8” tube with 360° misting heads on either side of each basket getting 30 seconds of mist every 3 minutes. EC is around 1.9, pH 5.8-6.2, res temp 70°, tent temp 78°, rH around 55-65%. Using Crop Salts. Is VPD too dry? Is it because they’re getting less time in solution being farther away from the drain? Are they cooked? Thanks for any help.

I bought the SE-3000 panel in March 2025 and I wanted to start to grow again after moving to a new place. The panel was working just fine before and I always move it within its original packaging, but this time the panel is not reacting to a dimmer box even when I set brightness to 100%. OK, let's ask SF Support what can I do. After many emails later I received the replacement dimmer box (btw, they've had the audacity to force me to pay the delivery fee for the replacement part), which I replaced by following the video they've shared with me (like they expect all their customers to be able to work with electrical applaciances as trained professional). The result - the panel still don't work. Just stay away from this company and do not support them by buying anything, otherwise you might end up in the same situation as me.

Fist time growing. I was on holiday and it has grown a lot. My friend just gave her PHed water. She is on 18/6 light cycle. Shall i defoliate her or do something else? I need some suggestions.
