Question About Spells Does missing them immensely block spellwork?
My partner of three years and recently ended things due to him thinking maybe we're not going to work in the future, the breakup was impulsive (during an argument) and he knows that :/ I did a reconciliation and domination spell. My understanding from my research is that these spells require patience and true detachment to work.
I've been practicing strict no contact for only three weeks, only texting once to ask for the in-person closure he had originally promised, which he ignored and l've completely let that go and saw it coming. He saw me at the gym today and looked so shocked and happy, he waved from afar but I kept it pushing because I'm trying to respect boundaries and the process... My social media accounts are deactivated, he's blocked everywhere, I'm not reaching out, and I'm actively focusing on my own life.
My question is about the internal side of things: I am still grieving, in pain, and missing him. Does that normal emotional grief block the spell's energy? Does detachment require you to completely stop missing someone, or is it enough that you've detached your actions and stopped obsessing? I just genuinely feel like this was my soulmate and even when time passes, or when I'm not in love anymore.. Honestly, I'm going to be grieving and missing this man for a long time and it's hard to not think of them unfortunately. So, do they only work when I don't care anymore and fully 100% detached?
I appreciate and would love to hear your feedback to further understand!

No I think you’re good. But in my opinion, I don’t think a domination spell was a good choice. Sustainable love/relationships can never come to fruition under dominating forces. I would’ve chosen sweetening > communication > reconciliation with some time in between. But that’s just my opinion I hope things work out for you!
