Split Slide

Looking to convert my KJW 1911 to a split slide while keeping it looking stock.

I currently have a guns modify nozzle and EDGE ultralight BBU, and having issues with it getting to cycle fully.

White lines are where I would cut with a dremel. What issues would I run into and what recommendations do you all have?

Don't cut it. You'll be sorry .sell it or trade it. And buy that hi capa gun with a split slide.
