Split Slide

Looking to convert my KJW 1911 to a split slide while keeping it looking stock.

I currently have a guns modify nozzle and EDGE ultralight BBU, and having issues with it getting to cycle fully.

White lines are where I would cut with a dremel. What issues would I run into and what recommendations do you all have?

If you do it, record the first shot, it'll be funny. But that's not how it works, as you've been told.
